EPL Transfers - speculation

Like the thread in the Phoenix section I thought I would start one in the English section as there seems to be enough support.

Transfer window is closing pretty soon so is there any late transfers likely to happen before it is closed?

I doubt Citeh will sign someone as big as Messi or even Xavi in this window...

We still have a few links rolling around, Latest is Sean Davis on the cheap and Barry Ferguson from Rangers. The Veloso rumor refuses to go away but i just cant see it happening unfortunately...

1 day left to sign a replacement for Nolan, that was a kick in the teeth

Who wants to be stuck in a relegation battle, with a team playing as sh*te as Citeh are playing at the mo.
No one who's team is in the champions league or top of their repsective divisions elsewhere i'm picking

As said when this window opened...

Hughes should be looking at players who can keep City up this season and finish in a respectable postion (With that he has signed Bridge, Bellamy &  De Jong) and then in the summer be making the bigger moves for more talented players.

Citeh got Given. Massive signing that will affect both clubs involved.

Still waiting on Arshavin, c'mon Arsene sort it out.

Three for me, and two for them.

Yeah, coz it's always been their dream to go and play for a side fighting in the relegation zone and live in the great city of Manchester...it must really be horrible when you're playing for one of the best teams in the world, top of the league, doing well in Champions League, haven't lost in yonks, and have to live in Barcelona...I just shudder at the thought. Poor Messi and Xavi, can't wait to get out of there.

Wasn't it Arsenal who wanted Johnson in the summer? Oh how the mighty have fallen...

yes, he might be opting to go from the richest club in the world to the 2nd richest club in the world instead of the Arse.

Quaresma to Spurs on loan is the latest rumour i've heard. Yids i'd get excited if i were you....

Three for me, and two for them.

Exactly what they need - another flashy attacking player who doesn't defend.

Meanwhile anyone from Burnley to Bolton to Hull to WBA can put three past them no problem.

Cmon EG. I may be a Gooner but you can't deny his quality and he would be a very decent signing. Lucky sh*ts...

No offence to you spurs fans but surely there are plenty of clubs that would want Quaresma and would be in better positions this season?

Not denying his quality, just saying that he's not exactly the kind of signing they need...

The profit of Keane would compensate for the doubled 7.5mil for Defoe, but you have to wonder what goes through the Spurs management's minds, signing 3 former players under a year they left (including Chimbonda)

Ramos had very little say in who was bought or sold. it was that muppet Damien Comolli who singlehandedly brought about spurs current crisis. to him i say "thank you ..hugs"
