I grew up in a family of LFC supporters so I'm certainly not trying to belittle Kenny Dalglish  in anyway I'm more than aware he's Mr L1verpool  i'm just agreeing that there's been a lol comments not from this forum (well not that much) but from others & they've got a bit carried away with some of the talk but he will be a good fit don't get me wrong it's now up to the players ain't it
The fans got what they wanted twice already who or what is next

Me too,but I reckon there's about as much chance of that happening as Tony Hibbert scoring a goal

No thanks, we have our fill of goats at present.

BBC says the Yak is close to joining Leicester on loan initially with a view to a permanent transfer.
What is stupid about this is that Moyes keeps on saying how much he needs to bring in attacking loan signings but instead he sends players the other way! Unless we get a good ammount from this it is very confusing

No point keeping the Yak and his wages if moyes doesn't want to play him, still hopefully we can get a decent striker in on loan

Fair point but is there anyone truly better than Yak whose wages aren't higher than his that we can actually sign for a limited price? Everton Blues2011-01-12 23:20:35

Yaks loan move confirmed, one less striker occupying the bench. if we don't land this loan target from Monaco ourselves then we are in the sh*t for goal scorers as if we weren't already.
Pienaar all but off to Spurs, just a matter of when this month or the end of the season.

Everton website confirms two offers accepted for Pienaar. Looks like he will definitely be leaving this month

Not a win but to score twice is always good. Will judge when I see the reply tonight.
Peanut off to Chelski it looks like. Hopefully some coin will come in the restock out attacking options. Wouldn't mind seeing Eagles and a genuine goalscorer.

Its no longer a problem.

I had a shower at half time came back into the lounge and we're tied up 1-1,  i rewind mysky to watch the goal and  hit the stop button to return to normal play bang we're up 2-1 Brilliant. Then Tim Howard had a mini brain fade and took Maxi down which i don't think he needed to imo and that gave them the equaliser

We are seriously going to miss Peanuts down the left Bainesy looked all lost without him and to be fair LFC did a reasonably good job marking him  but the Baines/Osman combo didn't really do it for me maybe Bily  will get a try

2.5 mill for Peanut. That's bloody robbery. Unless it includes Keane as well which I doubt. Especially when Darren Bent went for 18 mill to Villa. Lets hope Moyse has a few players lined up to fill the gap. No actually, its not just a gap, it's a blackhole.

Its no longer a problem.

it is, but it's probably the best we could've got with 6 months to go he wanted away and at least we have some money to spend  giddyup2011-01-19 16:40:25

So did we get a decent player? or another goat?

Permalink Permalink

He's good but you have just about every bloody midfielder going at the moment is that all arry knows how to buy he'll end up bench warming imo

Pienaar was always going to Spurs, he's been linked there for over a year and a half so its good that we got money for him with 6 months left.
I have a feeling that Bilyaletdinov is going to be really good in Pienaars absence.
Beckford has been hitting form since our move to 442 so lets hope it continues. He could be another Moyes bargain

Anichebe and Coleman sign 4.5 year contract extensions. Good news. Hopefully we can bring someone in now

We've signed a you English lad called Eric Dier from Sportig Lisbon. Supposedly the next big thing in English football . Sadly he's another defender. Still, its a start.
Hopefully Pavlyochenko or Keane form Spurs are on the list. I rate them both and they can score goals.

Its no longer a problem.

We don't need an untested CB right now. He probably won't even play games for us
Keane and Pavlyuchenko would be good signings, and spurs should be happy to sell them to us given Pienaar's recent move

I was a bit surprised at the signing of another midfielder myself.

A decent young CB or striker would have been a better move IMO.

Spurs are quite happy to sell Keane - it's his terms and conditions that are the sticking points not the club's price tag.

So tired of drawing. We have lost only 6 times this season - that is the same ammount of Europa League side Chelsea and only Spurs, Arsenal, Utd and City have lost less. Compare this to Perennial strugglers Liverpool who have lost 10 times. But of course we are now 13th because we can't convert these draws into wins

We're going to go backwards because we haven't had any investment, the team is stagnating. we've been punching way above our weight for a while now and the longer it takes to get some investment, the further behind we'll fall and all the ground work that moyes has done over the last couple of years will be wasted.

cup tie this weekend, dont spose its on espn or something.

should be a good game, think we may change the squad up a bit in the first half, give sturridge a start, maybe kalou aswel, got a game vs sunderland on tuesday to think of. though, tbh we have more of a chance getting a trophy in the fa cup this year than the league so maybe we will should play a full strength team in the cup.

Also live on Setanta is Birmingham v Coventry and Southampton V Man Utd.

You would think that after Yak Pienaar and Vaughan all have gone for the rest of the season we would have brought in at least 1 good player. We have a small enough squad as it is already

Atleast I can see Everton play Hull City again next season

I personally think its more Kenwright being skint, more than the money disappearing into fin air. Hopefully, we find a new owner in the summer who's willing to invest in the squad and stadium
