One point at white hart lane is better than no points at white hart lane.
Good effort from the lads, shame about how their goal came about, but we played well and deserved something from the game.

good point we would definatly gotten all three points if we had a fully fit midfield of Pienar,Arteta,Felliani, and coleman.

Two shirts to go and I'll have every home shirt Everton have worn since 1980. Those 2 being last season (not a fan but will get it and have the original one form 1985) and this seasons (waiting til the end of the season). Anyone got any away or third shirts (there have been some shockers) they want to add to the collection? I have this seaons pink and purple ones and a grey one from a while ago.

Its no longer a problem.

I had that yellow one. It's horrid. Still got that blue one though. Picked up last seasons home shirt on kitbag for 6 quid yesterday
Also found out I've lost that 2000-01 shirt somewhere. Ironic as I got two for my 21st and sold one on TradeMe.

Its no longer a problem.

Good attacking game despite the score. Disappointing as we conceded two goals which could have been prevented. Also Pienaar, Saha and Beckford missing very good opportunities

^^ Agree

I thought Sylvan Distin was Awesome yesterday helped conjure up the first goal made a nuisance of himself up front and was pretty damn good at the heart of our defence.oh and  I know they're only noticeable because he hardly touches the ball (because of our rock solid defence) but Tim Howard is he due for a sit down on the bench ?

With Everton, we win when not expected to. But when we are favourites, we always fall over the hurdle

I remember being on the end of similar results. How about when Merson f**king scored from the halfway line that time against Villa.I still get furious thinking about it!

I've only just seen the bbc highlights however, i would have taken a point against bolton before the game.

Fantastic strike from beckford but on a sour note wtf Fellaini were you thinking however we need to be more clinical in front of goal to get into Europe this season

Here's an article from the Liverpool echo David Moyes talking about Johnny Heitinga and the club vs country issue with reference to Tim Cahill going off to the Asian cup for 4-6 weeks with Australia and whether players should be paid by their clubs while they are away at such tournaments

Who's watching this morning? I'll be happy with a point.
Permalink Permalink

Beckford misses great chance in the last minute but I suppose a point is better than no points. It is very frustrating how we attack for a large period with no success, then suddenly concede a goal

Something seems inherently wrong with being happy with a point v Sunderland. Still, I'll take it.
Beckford could have won it but so could Wellbeck.

Its no longer a problem.

Arteta is playing way too deep this season. The only time he was forward was when he scored the goal, which was pretty lucky with the deflection. Remember when he used to get goals and assists on a regular basis? He has only got 3 goals and no assists in the EPL this season. He needs to play more advanced to have a greater influence on attack and not laying off passes for Baines and Neville. It is not what we are paying 75 thousand pound weekly salary for

Baggies this weekend at home. 3 points are a must have for this game. Hopefully the draw with Sunderland can re-ignite the season and get us up the table. It's so tight 2 wins puts us cose to a European spot.

Its no longer a problem.
