Yes News Mulligan has two for Doncaster.
Now i think about it was one of them a screamer?
Both against Boston Utd in the same season as Fallons.

So we can add Killen to the list.He has four all for Oldham including a hat trick v Orient. His first against Thurrock was on 14112004.
So was this the first FA Cup goal by a New Zealander?

the FA Cup starts well before the first round, so I would guess that there are a few other players who have NZ connections have scored.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

No. Leo Bertos scored on 8/11/2003 for Rochdale v Bury.

Also Chris Wood scored for West Brom v Huddersfield last season and one this season for Brighton v Portsmouth..

Considering this is the oldest running football cup in the World, is it possible that players considered Kiwis have been scoring goals at some level of the cup for decades?
You know we belong together...

Does an English born player in a Sunday league team with a NZ passport and been in NZ for 41 years count?

The FA Cup has a total of 12 rounds then Semi Finals and Final.
I don't know if you can count all of the Preliminary rounds.

OK, how about we make it players who have represented New Zealand at senior level.
So we could be looking at a player who came from the UK after playing at a good level and then went on to play for New Zealand.
Ken Armstrong could be a possibility.

Then sounds better as I can't see me scoring for a school Old Boys team ranks with say a Ryan Nelsen goal in the final.

5th round draw.
Fulham v Bolton or Wigan
Man Utd v Crawley
Everton or Europa League side Europa League side Chelsea v Reading
Leyton Orient v Arsenal
Birmingham City v Sheff Wed
Stoke City v Brighton
Notts County or Man City v Aston Villa
West Ham v Burnley

Nice reward for Crawley and Orient.Manu and Arsenal will also be happy.

I see Winston got a game this morning. Got fouled for the winning pen.
But it sounded like the West Ham defending was a bit shakey.

Time for an edit.

Should be a good final if stoke can bring another performance like that with them. Ok, Bolton didn't show but Stoke really excelled themselves.

oh god what a terrible article

What exactly is so terrible about the article?

oh i just felt it was a bit poorly written and unnecessary. to claim the fa cup isn't as good now and use this years final as an example is a bit silly. to have a team in the final that has never made it in over 100 years and another team in its first final in 30 odd years. i mean to me that is what the fa cup is all about.

and then to go and compare it to the copa final seems a pointless thing to do.

oh and also to have a go at squad rotation in the early rounds. thats just the nature of the game with such congested fixtures and the need to blood young talent against good opposition.

anywho, thats just my thoughts

He also mentions the top teams not wanting to go out in the early rounds. Liverpool had to face Man Yoo in the 3rd round if I remember rightly, The Arse played Man Yoo in the quarters and United went out to Citeh in the semi's. Hardly early rounds.

Would he prefer it if the FA Cup was seeded like tennis so the top teams all avoided eachother until the semi's and final? How boring would that be??

He's only complaining cause He supports Manchester United. I reckon if United were in the final that blog would not of even been written. I support United aswell and just cause we're out of the competition it doesn't mean that it's worth "sweet FA". Devlin's just a bit of a cock imo.

He is! I've known him since he was about 15. Always was a smart mouth. I have not seen any change in him over the years on the radio or TV. He's been a United fan since around the 1975/76 season so in fairness to him, he's not a glory hunter fan.
