I think there will be more goals here. 2-2 possibly?

Chance for penalties today? I missed the drama in the A-League, wouldn't mind seeing some here instead.

Argh spoiler!  my fault for coming on this forum before watching the game I guess.

Would be quite funny if this game went to penalties in a way, with Liverpool being down to their 3rd choice keeper.

Allegedly

Whoops sorry Tegal. Not sure how much Carroll knew about that header.

Carroll's first shot on target, and look what happens. GOAL!

Why can't we f**kin beat liverpool
Distin did it for us, Jagielka should of started instead.
I was convinced we would beat them but of course we never do.

I'd just finished texting to a mate "Carroll ..first name on the transfer list.." after his third or fourth miss....then he scores, with the back of his bloody head! Like you say RR, he probably didn't see it. ..but we'll take it. Everton very strong first half, Liverpool were shaky, but had the better second half.
One crucial mistake each side punished and one unsighted header (which Carroll will no doubt claim was intentional) the only difference.
Tension-filled right to the end.Classic derby.Whew.

Improving,,on the up, a work in progress from Italiano and the Nix. Bring on the bathroom bling in '24! COYN!

That was a brutally stressful game... the feeling when Carroll ponytail-flicked it home though, brilliant.

Also, good job everyone at Four Kings tonight for making sure the minute silence was properly observed, was a nice moment and I'm glad no idiot ruined it (also, it is sort of weird having dead silence in a packed bar).

... groan grumble groan....  going back to bed. I hate football. No I don't. Yes I do...

I hate losing to 'them'...
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

The worst player on the pitch scores the two goals - kinda funny and sad at the same time. That's 9(?) goals in 50 appearances??

I would credit his pony tail with the goal.

I stand corrected. Sorry, I was tired whilst watching. Here's some info off soccernet.com......

Dutch legend Johan Cruyff is among the heavy-weight names being targeted by Liverpool following the departure of Damien Comolli as the Premier League club's director of football.

Comolli left Anfield by "mutual consent" on Thursday after a number of big-money signings, including Andy Carroll (35 million), Jordan Henderson (16 million) and Stewart Downing (20 million), failed to deliver on the pitch.

I thought Downing looked good, was the best option down the right flank for Liverpool.

I think Henderson has a good future too. Really tidy player. Think he's better in the middle too, not out on the wing.

For reasons I won't go into here , I was bawling my eyes out during the minute's silence.Couldn't hear a peep out of the box so I assume Wembley was very quiet.Great class from the blue half of Liverpool. I see above that 4 kings was quiet too; much respect from me for that , fellas. Thank you.

Put money on Jelavic to score too.
