This would be awesome, getting to see some of the lower league teams play.

So wtf is going on, looks like there's no FA Cup on at all this weekend, despite a few decent ties happening.

Does no one have the rights? This sucks balls

Don't know what that has to do with the FA Cup.

Three for me, and two for them.

So the FA Cup rights for the region were brought by Setanta Sports in Australia. In order for Sky or TVNZ  to broadcast the games they must buy the sub broadcast rights off Setanta.

Up until the middle of last year there was a way to subscribe to Setanta in New Zealand, until Sky kicked up a fuss about a few rugby game crossover rights (Sky and Setanta having the same game) and it is no longer possible to have Setanta (legally).

It is a similar story for the Champions League with ESPN and SBS Australia. SBS have first rights to games and ESPN show the rest. It is possible to pick up SBS in New Zealand right now via satellite.
