So the English press have found another non-story to chase after.

Did Fab spit at Ballack 3 years ago?
I tihnk not. I would say, that while shouting at Ballack, some spittal left his mouth. This is normal when shouting.

Did Fab spit at Hull staff Brown?
I didn't see the game, and can't find any video evidence either way. I susptect, as usual, that the press are assuming fire where there's only smoke. Anyone got a video link?

they say it happened in the tunnel after the match (after changing the location about 4 times) so there is no video evidence. Slow news week in football land i guess. BTW Brown just admitted to being guilty of an improper conduct charge from his match with Newcastle in January

I posted this in the gunners thread but ill repeat it here for those who want to argue the point over video evidence

The incident with Ballack happened  in the CL 4 years ago when he still played in Germany, ballack made the most of a tackle, waved his hand at the ref to get Fab booked, when fab shouts in his face afterwards notice the way ballack shies back, but doesn't raise his had to his face. The first thing anyone who got gobbed in the face would do is wipe it off. Ballack just sits there.

this clip shows the type of sporting behaviour ballack is capable of.

For the record, I'm not defending anybody   I'm just trying to work out exactly what's going on here. I've still got beef with the Arse, for footballing reasons. I've got greater beef with the english media - for ethical reasons!
