was real gutted how last week worked with the cup qualifying draw..... with the majority of my team playing i didn't qualify which is crap
It is what it is though, this week i have started well soucek and Grealish. Definate time to get rid of KDB thou
I notice they brought the wildcard forward by a couple of game weeks which I thought was a bit odd. Just waiting to see who will get sucked in to using it considering this round is for catchup matches.
Might all be irrelevant for the meantime though since the UK is going back into lockdown...

Yea i don't have my free hit which most seem to be plkaning to use this week, but who knows with the talks of more games getting postponed
I still get confused between the wild card and free hit, consequently haven't used any of them!

Of course being the idiot I am, I used my wildcard this week without checking the fixtures and have ended up with only 3 players in my squad actually playing in this round. It looks good for the following round with some players playing twice but probably should have held off in case I suffer injuries to those actually playing this round!
Yea i didn't have my free hit after using it earlier in the season without knowing what it really was about....
but have known for a while abut the fixtures and had planned acordingly... now with the villa, tottenham game off and 2 players with injury clouds... i will only have 8 if im lucky playing...
Yep. only had 8 play but still came away with 41 points. Really happy with that.

absolutely gutted Leeds Southampton game off, this round. Gutted me of 6 palyers
Started this week off to a flyer with 39 points from 4 players, and was looking at a massive rise in overall rank.
ended up with 59 and a minor rank rice.... slowly getting closer to the top 1 mill tho

But it's getting harder now. Squad rotation, big names out with injury (Kane, Vardy, De Bruyne etc) Injuries I think will play a key component, and I'm never settled on picking City players, due to the fact you hardly know who will come in each week.
Relying on a front three of Wilson, Watkins and Bamford this week, Salah as captain. Somehow have cobbled together a midfield of Fernandes, Son, Salah, Grealish and Saka. Still going strong in the Cup too, but my 2 extra transfers may come back to bite me on that one.

Could've gone the other way had I taken Calvert-Lewin over Wilson like it seems so many others did (I think it said he was the most transferred in player)

Pathetic... Soucek sent off for elbowing Mitrovic by accident. Mitrovic even pleaded for him, but after about 5 mins of VAR looking then the ref looking, its a red card.

But the guy I'm up against in the cup has loaded himself up with Leicester players, so hoping Wolves blank them, and Gundögan, Salah and Bamford have excellent games and hopefully make it through to Round 24.
Lot's of good finishers emerging this season too in the likes of Bamford, Watkins, Wilson etc compared to your past couple of seasons being dominated by Salah, Mane, Kane and Vardy. Makes it hard to settle on a front line!
