Did anyone see how immense the be-fro'd Belgian was against the Citeh Arabs this morning ... he MUST be the Prem player of the month based on his past few outings ... expect a 25 million pound bid from Chelsea - he's just what they need if they want to remain ahead of Man Utd.

Is he the longest in the shower?

How old is Leggy?  Is he 12 or 72?

25 million pfft  jog on, we sold Lescott for that Felli's worth at least 40 million plus going by that standard

Essien has been injured (again) playing for Ghana ... so they may well need a ball winner. And if you don;t think others rate Fellaini - read Phil McNulty on the BBC website.

I rate Felli, just don't think 25 million is anywhere enough to let him leave the mighty Everton F.C,I don't give a  fuk about  Cheslea or essiens injury problems either

I know he's attracting some interest in europe, and he is a good player... But I think we're a few seasons off comparisons to Viera.

come back to this thread when he has a single medal or cup to his name then you can compare him to Viera, but until then have a reality cheque. Fellaini isn't even as good as Flamini was in his stint in our midfield, and most football pundits would tell you that Song has been the outstanding DM player in the EPL this season. You are officially the first person in the world ever to be burned by Downey. That must be a low point!

I like Downey tbf. Probably my favourite Chelsea fan on here. Mind you that isn't hard, the rest are a bunch of f**kwits.

Three for me, and two for them.

Downey is one of the worlds great people, I once saw him skull half a bottle of brandy get up and try to run on to the football pitch to start a game, unfortunately he got to halfway fell over and went to sleep.

 Bit bolded... Quality!

And agree, Buffy. Downey is alright, despite his constant winding up about Kun's transfer! Am I your favourite 'Pool fan on here, or am I just too over-the-top for you?

Nah, you're not too OTT. Even though we tend to 'agree to disagree' on whether Rafa should stay or go you would probably remain my top Pool fan. LF1 close second just because of that awesome league table he keeps updated on the dot.

No United or Sp*rs fans are on my list so far...

Three for me, and two for them.

If nothing else I've taught Downey to spell Vieira ... who I would've thought was a reasonably successful Arse player ... up there with Terry Henri, Denise Bergkomp and even Clive Bastion!

I was comparing Fellaini to Vieira at THIS stage of his career - ie. 22 ... what had Vieira won at Cannes or AC Milan, what did Roy Keane win with Forest?

Fellaini is looking very assured in a defensive midfield role at an early age ... players like Makelele, Dunga and even Frings took a lot more time to develop.

The quick comebacks may make you feel good now ... but in 5 years time when Fellaini is starring for a top Prem or Spanish side ... remember where he made his mark.

Opinions are like aresholes - everyone has one...

Unless you saw his full televised displays against Chelsea, Spurs, Burnley, Arsenal and Man City where he (along with Pienaar) was the best player on the pitch - you don't have an informed opinion.

How many of his games for Liege did you see?  I saw one against Perennial strugglers Liverpool and he looked the business ... but is only now reproducing that form each game - in the Premier League - quite a step up from the Belgian League I'd say.

After Vermaelen's displays for Arsenal it'd be interesting to see how players such as Defour and Witsel would cope in the Premiership ... I reckon they'd be useful.  Their names are often bandied about in transfer speculation and after the success of Vermaelen and Fellaini (and a look at their wages packets) they must be interested.

EFC - unbeaten in 8.  Bring 'em all on now!

He's finding form because he's finally being played in his right position Dm unlike last season when he was put in just behind the lone striker which is where Tim Cahill plays best for us. it was obvious to everyone but David Moyes at the time, now i'm happy he's seen the error of his ways and Felli is showing what it was  Davey had seen in him, remember he'd been tracking Felli for two or more seasons before deciding to buy him in it was the game against Liver-pool that convinced Moyes to go for him..

Oh and Felli does play for a top premiership team it's called EVERTON F.C !!!
