Just wondering if anyone knows why there are never any Friday night
games in the Premiership?
Surely the English would be much similar to us and rock up to
support their team after work on a Friday?

I think there is - or used to be - a Chapionship game televised on
a Friday night - so that might be why. Unless things have changed,
they don't like to compete against televised games.
I think our crowds are more impressive because we do - you
could just stay at home - lots of people probably do - and
watch it on Sky.
Incidentally, for me, it was a hasle to get organised after
work and get down there from here in the Wairarap, so I prever the
Saturday or Sunday games.
