you might be thinking of DEANO!!

Windass started his footballing career as a YTS trainee at Hull City before being released by Brian Horton, following which he had unsuccessful trials at Sunderland, Cambridge United and York City.[4] Instead he started playing for non-league North Ferriby United while also having to work on building sites and packing frozen peas.[5]

or Big BILLY!

Whitehurst started his career playing for a number of local teams, one being Mexborough Town in the semi-professional leagues, whilst working for the local council as a bricklayer. He eventually made the move into the professional ranks with Hull City in 1980 and after a shaky start soon cemented his place as one of the most popular players to have ever played for the club.

Horsfield also sent that ball right along the box for Kanu to tap home but somehow the Nigerian put it over, was one of the misses of the season and often found in Youtube compliations for Worst Misses and Football Comedy.

Now i've been down the park before trying that and i have no idea how he put it over
