It takes Rooney a whopping 19 minutes to earn what I earn in a year.

It's ridiculous how much they earn, I understand that they have short careers, but when it says it will take me hundreds of years to earn what they earn per year, and that they earn what I earn per year in well under an hour... Well it is insane when you put it into perspective like that.

Especially these days when they can coach or do coaching clinics, or become commentators or become pundits for various newspapers or tv shows or tabs.

They earn that kind of money because we spend time talking about how much money they earn. Get your heads around that one.
