Seems that Mark Hughes is moving to Man City.
Wonder what impact this will have on Ryan Nelson.

Partially cover in alwhite sections. Its a possibility. SOunds like we are raiding blackburn backroom staff as well. Hughes has consistently said that Ryan is the most underrated player in the EPL so it may depend if Thaksin is willing to fork out the $ to buy out his contract.

I'm not sure why Hughes would move there. It seems that stability is in short supply at the C of M stadium. Maybe he feels he's done all he can at Blackburn, but to me he is setting out his stall here and saying "I don't want the United job".
As for Ryan Nelsen, he might be a good replacement should Richard Dunne move to Newcastle as expected. Nelsen alongside Micah Richards at the heart of the defence, youth and experience, that might work well.
Nix, Leyton Orient and Alloa Athletic supporting schmuck.

Maybe he's being offered three times the money ?
I thought Dunne was off to Spurs ?

Only three times?
I think i heard reports that Dunne is much more likely to stay with Hughes in charge. I hope he does.

He's more likely to poach David Bentley isn't he? Santa Cruz could be a target as well.

My view on Mark Hughes has changed dramtically on hearing that he will manage City. He was giving it to David Bentley about displaying loyalty to the club, and all that clap trap when Liverpool are said to be looking at him, and then Sparky goes and walks out on Blackburn.
Ok if he walked out Rovers for the Cheslki or Utd job thats acceptable, but are Man City that big a draw card. He had the cusihest job in the league beforehand, and now he has gone to a club that got rid of Sven after a year. as much as I dislike Sven for his time managing England, his club record has always been excerlent, and this Thai fool, has made a mistake in letting him go for a jolly up with the Mexicans.
The Rovers board have signalled that they dont wish to try and climb further up the ladder by letting him go, and I can see all of there best players soon leaving. I just hope that maybe sees the error of his ways and buys back Bentley.

He's been promised a big Thai wad of wedge reportedly... they obviously didn't think Sven would have spent wisely lol

The man city managers seat is like the Newcastle one - a poisoned chalice. Both have awesome fans and fan base yet never seem to kick on and deliver on the feild.
Ironically they both featured against each other in the 2nd best ever league Cup final in 1975/76. That Dennis Tueart overhead kick being a modern classic goal.

Nobody reacts well to a vacuum. The Blackburn Board need to move fast and put a manager with a good track record in place if they want the players to remain settled. And don't talk Allardyce - I'm sick enough as it is.

I read they were going to try and get Paul Ince in as Manager and the LMA would let them away with it, even though he doesnt have his Uefa pro coaching license yet

It does look like Ince has the inside running:

He'd have to be a better choice than that whinging sod Allardyce

And now Blackburn are up for sale. Time for Ryan to move to a top Prem team, like Stoke for example.
