According to the commentators last night, a pre-match talk revealed that Phil Brown stated "Talks of Michaael Turner leaving are premature"!
That was a pathetic performance last night - no excuses about the humidity. We had absolutely NOTHING in the final third and next to nothing in the middle. No direction. The Griffiths brothers performed better.

Tony Pulis full of praise for Olofinjana by expounding on what a wonderful bloke and player he is after selling him to Hull for 3 million quid. Freely translated this means that he was bloody useless and we were glad to get rid of him especially at such a ridiculous price.
Altidore is totally unproven at this level of football but is showing promise with the USA National team. It is to be hoped that he is the "Blow your Socks off" signing that Phil Brown has been on about for the past two months.

Dan Vinegar of Hessle Road (that's a main road in Hull) will now shoulder the responsibility of leading the attack but he has the same strike rate at Celtic as cousins had at Rangers so I am not expecting too much. Altidore is far from ready for this level of football but could serve as an 'impact' striker sub.
