Ian Holloway has gone...
I am absolutely gutted that Holloway has left Plymouth.
After reading in his column on BBC where he talked about
loyalty to clubs etc he left...
I wouldn't mind though if he becomes the England manager!!
lol

As long as it's not a certain former England manager in the
running....
Ollie should never have left QPR for Plymouth and wouldn't have but for Paladini clearing the decks after back stabbing Bill Power. We were delighted he went to Plymouth. The fans of both clubs seem to get on pretty well. But leaving for Leicester has to be a most unwise Career move. They will demand instant success or else. As for the England job, Ollie couldn't do any worse than McClown. And Kevin Gallen might finally get that elusive England cap at the age of 33.
Yeah Ollie shouldn't have left us or Plymouth he's a decent enough
coach at our level but to leave for leicester come on Oliie be real
Argyle have been given permission to talk to Paul Sturrock by
Swiddle. I'm sure he'd be very much welcomed back at Home Park.
Unfinished business for Luggy!!
To say I was disappointed at Ollie's move is an
understatement. He was only talking about "loyalty" the week
before. His job was totally safe, he was loved by the board, the
fans, the players and the local media. It can only go wrong for him
at Leicester. Oh well, not our problem now....
Yes Argyle fan, I fully understand how you feel. And yes, leicester
is not a move upwards. Sideways at best.

Go im with you there buddy! Mclaren isnt worthy of managing a
pub team!!
I agree with u blokes!
Ollie reminds me of Allardyce. He took average bunches of
players at average clubs and got much out of nothing!!
Now he's moved to a "better" club im not sure he'll be the
same great manager he was just like allardyce at newcastle
now.
Totally agree he wil struggle to improve better players but has the
nack with no-names
Sturrock is back, along with Kevin Summerfield and John
Blackley!!
There's a good article on skysports.com with Luggy saying this
is a difficult job as he's used to taking over teams in trouble,
not ones fourth in the Championship!! Good point....

The 03/04 Division 2 race was a classic. When we
beat QPR to win the Division at home, there were over 3000
away fans (from what I remember). The atmosphere was a party
as it was obvious both teams were going up, it was just the
order to be sorted out. There was a huge respect between the two
clubs and the fans and the first formal
congratulations Argyle received was from QPR.
We obviously returned the favour the following
week!!
It's amazig fans can form friendships or get on with each other yet
politicians act like school kids ALL of the time? With sturrock
back. I can see Plymouth doing even better and the pressure on
Sturrock immense considring their current position.
yeah great season for both clubs 03-04
