This whole thing is getting very tiresome.  Bridge was no longer with his girlfriend so not sure why he is so upset, other than the fact she's been sleeping with a mate of his.  Terry is married and has cheated on his wife which by all accounts is not the first time.  So his marriage is proably over.  They're all consenting adults and get what they deserve.

Terry's a prat for not keeing it in his trousers
The mistress is an idiot for shagging her ex's married mate
Bridge is an idiot for leaving a fit bird in the first place, leaving the best club in the world and going to Manchester
Terry's wife is a loser for marrying someone she knew was a serial shagger.

Now leave them all alone to get on with their sad pathetic lives in private.

Well said Jose. Now let's cue the music to this......

The tough thing for Bridges as he has to deal with a cheating girlfriend (now ex) because of the children they have to together and then still to face her for the period of which the children has to grow up. And then has to perform national football duties with the guy who screwed his ex-GF that may could have been integral to the original break up.

I'm with "Team Bridge", the game is bigger than some of the saucy culture that surround it. England would still have a strong team without Terry as Captain and to be honest the squad can be even stronger by dropping him out of the squad all together.

Drop him and leave him out, it is not English to leave him there. We had numerous of famous players being dropped before a WC finals tournament and teams had still perform very well. England will never move on if they don't drop him. It will end up as a misty cloud over their WC efforts. It will undermine the other players confidences in the coach for not dropping him and you can't have that disharmony six months out.

As for it being a "basic human error", I disagree. It is not basic at all. Affairs such as these over a period are carefully planned and purposely concealed and not some heated moment, because there are other significant others like Wayne Bridges and JT's mrs and their respective children to timetable around it.

Terry has no heart, so why expect the other players to follow him?

I know that I have made my comment, but this is old news now, plus it has nothing to do with football.
We should all just give it a miss.
JT will resign as England captain, that is if he has got any class- which I doubt?

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

LAMPARD AND ROONEY FURIOUS AT CAPELLO'S DECISION

Well, I for one thought that sacking JT for something entirely unproven, that didn't affect his footballing skills or leadership qualities, had nothing to do with football at all and replacing him with Rio Ferdinand - someone who admitted to failing to do a drug test after a game - was a STUPID idea. I thought that it was silly. However, it seems that some senior England players, including our own Frank Lampard, are entirely p*ssed off that John Terry has been stripped on the England captaincy.

Let's face it - the media have screwed our chances of actually doing well at the World Cup. Taking the best leader and captain we have out of his natural job, some four months before it all kicks off, is ludicrous. But, my thoughts are not alone. The impressive Wayne Rooney, and indeed the best midfielder in the Premiership, have (indirectly) voiced their opinions....

Last night, Wayne Rooney's mate, someone who grew up with him from the age of four, was spotted by a tabloid journalist in one of his favourite nights spots in Manchester. Obviously not being Wayne Rooney giving the comments, his pal (who has to remain unnamed due to editorial guidelines) said the following:

'Wayne isn't happy about the whole situation. He believes that John had the experience and leadership qualities to take us to World Cup success. Sacking him not long before the tournament starts is something that Roones doesn't think is right - take it from me, he isn't happy.'

That about sums it up in my eyes. Plus, Frank Lampard has refused to comment at all on the situation. He was asked directly by a journalist outside Cobham just before getting into his rather nice little car, the following question:

'Frank - do you agree with the decision to sack John Terry as captain of England?' Frank simply looked at the microphone, laughed and shook his head.

Axing John Terry is ridiculous. For something entirely unrelated to performance or on-field leadership is even more so. Why the hell couldn't the media release this story AFTER the World Cup? Why do our press love to ruin our chances of glory by helping take our inspirational leader's armband?

Don't get me wrong, this won't affect JT's performance in an England shirt at all. He's too professional and too good to let this affect him. But what it will do, as per the above, is p!ss off a couple of England's best talents as it's clear that John Terry is our best captain.

Furthermore, there's also a lot of rival-club supporters who (it's nice to see) are backing JT. Club loyalty aside, he is the best for the job, and on behalf of Vital Chelsea, I thank you all for your positive comments, regardless of who you support. We all want the best for England. And it's pretty obvious that JT is (was) our best captain for a long, long while.

In my eyes, this is Capello's first nail in his coffin.....

That article is a load of bull. Written by an one eyed idiot with very little perspective but has mentality of the worse club rumour. The comments about the article from others including other Chelsea fans reflected how stupid this writer is.

Take it with a grain of salt.. . .

In other news, ManchesterUnitedFans.com reports that they talked with a friend of Fat Frank who said: "Franky thinks its wonderful that Rio has taken over, John is a tool".

To say its nothing that effects on-field leadership may be right. But surely you understand that in a team there is more to being captain than 'on field' leadership?

Have to laugh though. Ferdinand can hardly speak english properly, coming across as some sort of illiterate in interviews. And he is representing England. I hear he thinks he is a buddying Rappa, just what one needs. If he isn't facing another 4 game ban.

Terry was (reluctantly said) a good captain and had the respect of the team - well except for when the news broke out. But that would have died down as everyone started to cencentrate on the job at hand.

Big mistake IMHO.

These are a list I was sent, some are repeats.......

Ashley Cole was caught doing 104mph in a 50mph zone. When questioned by police as to why he was speeding, he said: "l've just heard JT is parked outside my house!"

After Wayne Bridge refused to play for England while John Terry remains captain, fans are now urging JT to try it on with Emile Heskey's wife.

John Terry has been lined up to star in a new ITV drama. It's called "Other Footballers' Wives".

John Terry has announced he's lost his England captain's armband. Fabio Capello told him to ask Wayne Bridge to check under his bed.

What do Wayne Bridge and the Titanic have in common? They both should've stayed at Southampton.

John Terry is to release a charity single - it's a version of The Cars' "My Best Friend's Girl".

His follow-up will be "Under The Bridge".

What has Vanessa Perroncel got in common with a Champions League final goalpost? They've both been banged by John Terry...

Chant heard at Hull vs. Chelsea match on Tuesday: "Chelsea, Wherever you may be, Don't leave your wife with John Terry. Cos he likes a shag, he likes a bit of fluff, And he'll get your missus up the duff".

We all knew John Terry liked scoring at The Bridge, but this is ridiculous.

Poor Wayne Bridge - he's not even first choice with his wife.

Wayne Bridge bought Vanessa Perroncel a chocolate willy... but she says she prefers Terry's.

John Terry has explained he didn't mean to have sex with Vanessa Perroncel - he just slipped while he was showing her how to take a penalty.

The England team have voted for Terry to keep his place in the World Cup squad. With the ban on WAGs travelling to South Africa, no one wants him left behind.

Bridge needs to harden up and get a life. Imagine if we all got upset at some guy banging our EX girlfriend - you know, the one that we had left BEFORE he banged her.

Having a look at Bridge I'd say the only two things that babe was after, was money and prestige of having a (Then) Chelski player as a boyfriend.

What . . . you read Bridget Jones' Diary?!?! Are you totally insane!?! How did you survived?? It explains a few things . . .

Anyway, yeah that is crazy reporting tho. I love Bridges non-handshake. If there is a fine arising from it that the FA could imposed because of anti-sporting behaviour (as expressed by some critics), then whole thing is a shambles. Can't a guy express his non-agreeing nature if he has a problem with something. Who wants to conform to stupidity???
