Look at the legal avenues he pursued. Does he have some problem with the TRUTH? He's not fit to ever play for England again. I don't care about what he did, I do care that he was willing to follow the avenue (legal or not) that he did.

But anyway, he's not the first and won't be the last to cheat. In fact, i bet out of the 5,500 odd members on here around half of them have probably cheated on their wives/husbands/girlfriends/boyfriends in their life. Quick to judge aren't we?

Leggy from what i've seen on here you think almost everyone is a low life, including me.

I don't like Terry much at all, but in this case yeah he's made a stupid mistake but it's a mistake many of us can associate ourselves with because we too have done it. He shouldn't be castrated for it.

Bridge is obviously a bit miffed from what we read so we can assume that El Tel didn't say 'can I give your missus one in the xmas turkey' and get permission. Man Code Violation

Will it lead to him being dropped from England? Extremely unlikely. However:

1: Capello has a rep of not liking this kind of stuff and demands higher standards
2: They are both going to World Cup. That'll mean tension, retirement or sorting it out.
3: With that in mind, it'll be likely that Terry isn't the captain anymore.

Sure he diffed his team mates ex and its not the crime of the century, but not before going to the World Cup and having to live with the guy for 2 months in camp.

Its the backroom issues, not onfield ones that will cause disruptions to WC preparations. most of the england WAGS have sided with JT's missus and are basically planning on boycotting any social/charity event he attends - putting pressure on thier partners to do likewise. As a leader you cant really expect him to have much respect anymore if you cant trust him not to knob your missus.

Men cheating does happen Buffy, but when you cheat with the partner of someone in your team, you pretty quickly lose the respect of your locker room. Hardly a position the captain should be putting himself in.

Apparently Cashley Cole, Rio Ferdinand and Fat Frank have all been talking to Bridge and offering him support - given they're all senior members of the England set up and two of them are Terry's club mates this could get intersting.

Also some Man City player were apparently wearing 'Team Bridge' shirts according to the BBC, of course Bridge being their team mate.

I think it's all been blown way out of proportion and people are overreacting.

Ok, so it was an ex-club team mate (but current Engalnd team-mate) and it was Bridges e-Missis. The only issue I see is cheating on his wife. Unless I'm missing something and it was Bridges current at the time and he was at Chelsea too. In that case, drop him, bring back Jagielka and make Beckham captain.
