Do away goals count in the League Cup?

Three for me, and two for them.

Actually an OG from Lescott

Its no longer a problem.

90 mins: Lescott misses a glorious chance to redeem himself, sent clean through on goal. But his first touch is loose and Hilario is able to get out and smother the chance.

Its no longer a problem.

90 mins: The final whistle blows, and a breathless cup tie reaches the midway point with Chelsea enjoying a one-goal advantage. Cracking game, full of incident and controversy. Everton thought they'd done enough to leave on level terms until a late howler from Lescott. I'm already looking forward to the second leg. Arsenal v Spurs will be hard-pressed to match this one.

Its no longer a problem.

I was watching it online... spent a few minutes trying some English language feeds before giving up and giving in to the Cantonese feed. Worst bit was when I closed sopcast, only to have it hang and have a few cantonese words repeating over and over again like a broken record player...

...okay I lie, the worst bit was Chelsea beating us. Duh.

my god Yakubu is fat and lazy.  He scored a great goal, but he was useless aside from that

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

f**cker. We were great when they went down to ten men for about 20 min. Lescott was decent when he wasnt OGing. Wright Phillips was well decent

Are you a Toffee Feverish? It seems robbwatson is as well.

Haha I guess I might as well come out of the toffee closet now. I've been keeping tabs on the EPL the last few months or so despite traditionally following Italian football, and I've somehow found myself naturally aligned with supporting Everton. Living on Everton Terrace probably has something to do with it, but either way yes I'm a Toffee now

Of course there is. But you'd need to get an admin to rename you, can't imagine an Everton supporter with the username "Arsenal"

...oh wait, you mean me? Nah, I'm set thanks

Bandwagon et al

I support Hellas Verona in Italy. In Serie C2. A bandwagon jumper would be supporting AC Milan or Juventas

Plus typically a team has to have a degree of success for new fans to be considered bandwagon jumpers.

Calling someone a bandwagoner for supporting Everton...I never thought I'd see the day...

Predictions of 16-0 to the Toffees were a little optimistic then.  Ten men, we only had ten men, we only had ten men.....

Can I answer that for you Greenie??

Feverish does support Everton but would often turn up at Walfies sporting a Newcastle top and had never been to Goodison. Both were quickly rectified!!

Serves the w*nker right. It has all gone down hill for that c*nt,another who thought the grass was greener when leaving the Arsenal but proved wrong.
I definitely think we came out better in the deal, "I'd rather have a Willie than a C*nt"....
