I've noticed my.p2p has been down for a week and a bit, disappointing, was easily one of nthe best sources for streams, hope it comes back.

Now if you have sky you get free access to isky, you don't need multiroom anymore (stupid rule in the first place).

There is a Catch Up option with highlights etc.

Far from perfect, but much better than before and the quality is great (yet to test it with live footage tho)

Also if you have your broadband with Orcon, Vodafone or a couple others it doesn't eat into your data allowance.michaelme2011-12-22 16:37:42

I'm not sure this is the right place for these links George, it's more for video's on the net of games rather than the radio stuff. Maybe make a new thread for radio? In saying that, thanks heaps for posting the links, is great to listen to this stuff, wouldn't be able to find it otherwise.

I thought about starting a radio one just for English football related stuff but then couldn't be bothered starting a new thread.  Not many people post clips so thought I'd hijak it.  Mods?  New thread? or add radio interviews into this one?

The greatest football commentator of all-time - long-time BBC legend John Motson - is on the show as we put the spotlight on the latest round of matches in the English Premier League

This thread isnt for clips or soundbites, its basically for live-streams of football matches that are not covered by any NZ media (read - not on Sky). If your radio links were audio match commentary fine, but otherwise feel free to start a Radiolivesport thread.

Hey, respect your comment about purpose of thread being for live streaming links, so will only post this once for those (I'm sure many) who might be interested in this great resource of >8000 matches available on DVD, including very recent ones.

Great if, for example you missed a crucial recent match in EPL, FA Cup, A-League, Champs League etc. or want a hard copy of an historical game (e.g. has most FA Cup Finals since the 1920's, World Cup matches, Euro finals etc.)

The guy behind it, Dave, is genuine and posts on Yellow Fever.

See his latest full list of matches available here:

Plus look out for Dave's updates on new additions here on Facebook:

WATCHING UK STREAMING OF MATCHES OR WEBSITES WITH TERRITORIAL RESTRICTIONS:

If you come across British websites that only allow viewing of matches within the borders of the UK and Ireland, the way around it so that you can watch matches from anywhere in the world, including NZ, is to install this free sotware on your computer.
"EXPAT SHIELD" assigns you a UK IP address every time you turn it on and thus fools websites with territorial restrictions into thinking that you are based in the UK.
Just turn it on every time you need it- but make sure to turn it off when not, as you do get annoying ads popping up otherwise.
The software is legal.

Publisher's Description
From AnchorFree:

Expat Shield allows you to Watch UK TV online outside of UK. You can now watch BBC iplayer from anywhere in the world. Ensure that you are private & anonymous online. As you may already know, if you live outside of UK, you cannot watch shows on BBC iplayer. Why? BBC blocks the access to iplayer by blocking the IPs coming outside of UK. Expat Shield is a easy to use FREE software that gives you a UK IP address so that you can watch your favorite shows from anywhere. This software is used by millions of people in over 100 countries. It takes 2-3 minutes to install. Then you can simply connect to the software, and browse web as if you are in UK.

Install this software (takes two mins) to watch in NZ (see explanation above):

80 mins 1-1
Fallon: scored on 59 mins to level it after Hibs opened scoring on 2 mins
Great long-range effort from Rory into top-right of net. Playing a blinder!
Looks like heading for extra time....

Found this site recently -very good for live streams. Will have one recommended stream for each match plus can click on list of alternatives available. Has annoying ads on screen initially when video loads but you can click them away easily.

I watched Football Fern Ria Percival play for FFC Frankfurt against Olympique Lyonnais in the UEFA Women's Champions League Final from the Olympic Stadium in Munich here this morning (50,000 record crowd for European women's club football). Will be no problem finding the men's Champions League Final or West Ham's promotion final here:

RE- PREVIOUS POST: The SBS satellite link from Australia on Freeview was unfortunately cut in April when SBS ceased its Optus satellite broadcast to Tasmania. So a source of free football disappears.

OLYMPIC FOOTBALL + PRE-SEASON CLUB FRIENDLIES ETC. ON BBC TV AND RADIO:

Can access in NZ on your computer if you do as below:

A. SOME GAMES LIVE ON BBC iPLAYER online - incl. Football Ferns v Britain (3am this morning), Brazil v Cameroon women(6am NZT, 19.00 BST) See the links to BBC Sport and iPlayer below to find live game links and videos.

B. 24 HOUR OLYMPIC RADIO STATION ONLINE- RADIO FIVE LIVE OLYMPIC EXTRA

Mostly football the next few days. Some live games + interviews, previews and review shows over the whole Games.

They have some NZ team games e.g. I know Radio 5 Olympic have NZ Men v Brazil next week live.

How to acess in NZ:

1. Download this free software which  temporarily assigns you a genuine UK IP address and turn it on when wanting to listen to BBC radio or watch video on BBC iPlayer or BBC Sport etc. Be sure to turn it off when not accessing UK sites or it will impede your posting on Yellow Fever etc.

http://download.cnet.com/Expat-Shield/3000-2092_4-75211377.html

2. Go to BBC Radio 5 Live Olympic Radio to find daily schedule and click on link to play radio on your computer:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/5liveolympicsextra/programmes/schedules

3. Direct link for radio player:

Radio 5 regular broadcast - also has live games and news:

5. BBC iPlayer: sport video, some live, incl. full replay of GB v Brazil Olympic last week:
