Luka Modri? signed with Spurs. There's a lot of talk around the net about how 'great' this guy is supposed to be, but precious little footage. The youtube material that I oculd find is mostly still shots of him set to tacky backing music. Besides his performance for Croatia against England, has anyone actually seen this guy play much? ? ?

Easily one of the best young players in Europe right now. About time he left Dinamo, though don't think that going to Spurs is the right thing for him.

Read that, but I'm not buying it. I think he just really wanted to move to the Premiership but probably thought he'd have a difficult time starting at Chelsea and Arsenal.

I thought his main reason was to play Champions League. Oh wait...

If he'd stayed at Dinamo, at least he'd have played in Champions League qualifiers...maybe get knocked out by Barcelona or someone like that in the third qualifying round.
Still reckon he should have gone to Germany or Italy first.

That's what I thought - surely Dinamo have far more prospect of CL football than Spurs!

Unless being 10th in the Premiership qualifies you for the Champions League...
