just signed for Cambridge United on loan from Milton Keynes Dons - Wahey! I knew he was a Cambridge lad but never expected him to return home. Local press described it as "a sensational swoop".

Wish he still had his pace.

Not fondly remembered by Burnley fans in his spell there, although he started promisingly. That was over 10 years ago, btw.  Coincidentally I saw him score in a 1-1 draw at Watford in one of my few forays to the other side of the world.

I know the village he comes from and he'd be considered quite good looking by their standards.

Good result in the FA Trophy but getting back in the league is the priority.
