Man City Thread
good to see UEFA clamping down on the issues that really matter...
Pretty sure we will bottle this.
Some block by Micah Richards and some finish by Yaya.
Shows how important that 6-1 win was for both team goal difference.
In truth City should have won the league about 8 games ago. It does show that money can get get results.
And you should have won it 3 games ago.
Two games ago not three.
good comeback
lol
Noisy neighbours rule . RM > SAF !!!!!!!!
Kiwimalaysia; you are PREMATURELY E-SPECULATING all over these pages. Control yourself man.
Anybody have a decent stream of this game vs QPR?
Have the united game on TV. Want to be able to do the one bit of multitasking a man is capable of - final day football.
NOISY NEIGHBOURS RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wo wo wo wo wo !!!!!!! Blue moon rising !!! RM is god !!
congrats to Man Utd for coming 2nd
I'm glad City won because we can say we not only outplayed, but also beat the league winners.
From footballfunnys:
Man City fans haven't been this happy since they were Chelsea fans.

Shouldn't the heading read "bigger"?
Anyway, congrats to the blue Mancs, always good to have a change. Hopefully Liam Gallagher has lost his voice for the next year so we don't get to hear his w#nkfest about his team.

best team in the land and all the world
Slept through my alarm. Probably a good thing. Well done Wigan. Hard to get upset at them winning it. Pretty shit they have to play a crucial EPL game in a couple of days.
For a Cup final this was a pretty good game to watch. After 10 mins one could tell that Wigan were not going to lie down. Both teams had chances and I got the feeling that it was either going to take individual brilliance or a huge defensive error.
The things that stood out to me were Mancinis massive back flip (lie) having promised ( in the English press) that Pantilimon, who has played all the FA cup games this season would be playing in goal in the final.
Taking two of the better performers off, Tevez and Nasri cost them.
When you consider the experience that City have on playing and management, Mancici,Kidd and Platt and the talent they have available, they were out smarted by Martinez.
In one of the English papers today someone referred to to the City management as 'the three stooges' Had to laugh.
Maybe it was the players as well?

I read a stat that Wigan's entire starting team was assembled for £12m while the average cost of a starting city player was £16m LOL
Yeah, and the Bradford City team that drew with Arsenal this season cost £4500.
You spelt beat wrong

Good very good.
Mancini goneski?
As of 30 mins ago, the BBC reckon he is.
Yeah, and the Bradford City team that drew with Arsenal this season cost £4500.
Still a good one now.
Looks like the sheiks have got bored with making the FA Cup final, coming 2nd in the league and qualifying for the Champions League. How many clubs would give their back teeth for that kind of return? Seems Pellegrini is the new flavour of the month. He's a good manager - so in Mancini - but do they seriously think he'll do any better? I suppose they're wanting more of a return on that investment.

Didn't mancini just sign a 6 or 8 year contract before the season kicked off? Will the shiek have to pay him out on that? I'm guessing so.
Can't be good for the books i.e. FFP
just been sacked apparently
Chelsea mk II
Mancini to Real M?
You just know Pellegrini (presumably) will be on a hiding to nothing.
Where's Bob de Matteo these days?
Sacked on the 1yr anniversary of winning their first top tier title in 44 yrs. Insane.
I'm not surprised but it is ridiculous.
Just makes the new contract they gave him all the more puzzling. Almost like they wanted to throw money away. I mean I know they can afford anything they want, but surely that counts against them when 'balancing' their books for FFP (which Man City had started to take seriously, until today it seems)
It is believed that although Newcastle gave Pardew an 8 year contract, they only have to pay out 1 season of wages if they sack him. I wouldn't be surprised if City did something similar with Bobby Manc, and Man Utd have with Moyles.
