Who's the next manager to follow Pulis (yes, he quit, I know). Surely Fat Sam?

Thread inspired by Tyler's Pulis post.

Presumably Allardyce will be next with Pulis taking over at West Ham.

I cannot see the West Ham board appointing another "anti-football" manager after BFS.

I would normally think whoever is the gaffer at Spurs and Pardew but I think there is a bit more optimism with Spurs Top Man #9.

Pardew... I wouldn't put my bollocks on the line this season.

He may not be interested, but Moyes could be a good fit for you?

Well looks like Malky Mackay won't be getting a job in Britain again. Disgraceful of the LMA to back him with the "friendly banter" card too.

If Tottenham manage to go a whole season without axing their manager, fair dinkum, it'll be a miracle.

Who has some odds on Van Gaal?

Fergie might be dusting off his whistle and clipboard...

Old Trafford staff have already put the trophies in storage to make way for Fergies return payment...

Neil Orange Peel Warnock in at Palace

Somewhere there is a NZF coaching manual with  a section "don't coach like this".

Might be awkward for current Palace Player Jason Puncheon after this twitter exchange re Pulis..

Damn too slow... was gonna say Leeds' Dave Hockaday, but I see he is gone already.

Thanks for that Dougie, I was totall unaware of this happening.

Basically Puncheon hS levelled an outright corruption accusation at Warnock. Apart from Puncheon getting a fine and a twitter ban nothing else seems to have come of it. Quite odd.

I hear he is jealous of Flavio Briatore's effort at QPR with 13 in 3 years. Wants to improve on it.

LVG, might not be next for the sack but with the cash he's just spent, if there's no CL spot or a trophy, he might as well pack his bags.

Na I'd be surprised if they gave him the sack. They'll give him two seasons.

That's what was said about Moyes and he was still in more competitions, had more points and had spent less money at the same time last season...

To be fair to LVG, Moyes by this point last year hadn't had to face the might of Burnley and MK Dons. Not a fair comparison.

Yup, he's got to be out of there. A club like that with massive fan base deserve much better.

I thought that Ashley said that Pardew would be sacked if Stoke won? Surprised he didn't step down immediately.

Who would have thought after the football united tour that Pardew could go before Big Sam?

Pardew still has about 47 years left on his contract doesn't he? What a massive cock up that was.

by all accounts he will only get a 1 year payoff when he is sacked so the length of his contract is slightly irrelevant.

The Liverpool rebuild is a marathon, not a sprint. Finishing 2nd last season was ahead of the curve - we have a squad of young talent that will take time to mature. What we don;t have is a bunch of players who would jump ship if there was no CL on offer.
