Aw man I love Hernandez, for such a young guy to be able to be so composed in creating and finishing chances like that makes me very excited. Good to see Obertan and Bebe in action as well. The future looks bright.

Even though Bebe was pretty average from what I've heard. Goal pretty lucky. Read somewhere that Fergie thinks Hernandez has fitted in so well because of his great English, while Bebe is still learning.

Big game this weekend. I'm slightly nervous about it but I'm hopeful of a victory. Saw an interesting article today that put things into perspective... Van der Vaart bought for 8 million pounds... Bebe bought for 7.4 million pounds. Might be a bit unfair to Bebe as I have seen him play once but I think Spurs got the better deal. Anyway . . .

Just out of interest, when Rooney is back to full fitness, would you like to see him back in the team at the expense of Hernandez? Given Chicha's recent form and the fact that Rooney can't buy a goal at the moment even though he should be able to due to what he gets paid.

Hmmm yeah I've been thinking about that myself. Can't really drop Berbatov as he's just scored a hat trick against Liverpool a couple of weeks back. I think Hernandez will have to make way for Rooney which is sad cos I love him but he'll get plenty of opportunites nethertheless.

You'd have thought that Rooney will be eased back into it ie bit off the bench, and theres going to be loads of rotation on the way as its silly season at the mo with games in all comps coming thick and fast. I say dont bring him back until he is totally ready...

Should be a tough game against Spurs, but cant really see United dropping points to them in all honesty. Their league form hasnt been that great, and with a massive game in midweek against Inter coming up surely Harry's mind may be wandering a little..?

I think Harry will be going all out for the United game. However I agree that we shouldn't drop points against them. I'm still slightly nervous that Spurs could sneak a draw or worse. Berba to score against his old club. Hopefully Park isn't starting just because he scored against Wolves.

Park was one of the better players!

4 words Spurs......PLAY TO THE WHISTLE... lol. Can see why they're annoyed though.

Think we deserved the points overall, Spurs had some good passages of play but only in the 1st half really. Gutted for them Van der Vaart will prob be out for the Inter game

Yeah I have to go back on what I said earlier and agree with you, I thought Park was really really good. I was also very impressed with Rafael.

That goal was no where near as bad as Liverpool's against Sunderland.

Certainly had a good LOL at it.

Park was excellent, and Rafael had Bale in his pocket.

Clean sheet, two goals against a Champions League side, and Man City losing. Very happy!

Vidic and Nani each giving me 14 points in fantasy football.  Happy with that.

Could have been a great day had Chelsea and Arsenal not scored late wins. Oh well . . . Can't be too greedy.

For the first 70 mins Utd were not in it. Spurs were by far the better side. When AF took of Berv and put on Scholes I thought he was nuts, but the game changed and even players that were not really having a good day, picked up. Spurs possession and corners were better. Not complaining with the 3 points, but on that performance- no chance of winning the league.

I don't care who Spurs are, on the day they were unlucky to lose. Utd were poor by their standards.
At 2.30am I sure was not stoned-just got out of bed.

It was at 5:30am? I too am perplexed by your analysis of the game in deeming spurs to have been better, but you know, each to their own I suppose? They were there or thereabouts til van der vaart went off anyway.

Hopefully Wolves wont throw a spanner into the works tonight. No Nani, and dont think Giggsys back til midweek for the derby (as i suspect Nani will be aswell)

Maybe Obertan and Park will work the wides (and Bebe maybe off the bench?) If not one of them then Fletch can fill in, as can Evra on the left...

Its looking a bit thin at the mo!

korean magic. park ji sung, aside from the goals I thought actually had a brilliant game plenty of probing runs and good option taking. bebe was woeful to be honest. obertan busy but didn't attack their backs enough for me, hernandez worked hard tried to make things happen.

Not a bad weekend all up with the Nix winning, United winning, and Chelsea and Arsenal both losing. Plus Canterbury won the rugby, the All Blacks won and the cricketers aren't disgracing themselves. If only the Kiwis had won . . .

Frustrating game in truth. Not a lot of creativity at all. We need to be playing with two strikers and I think our lack of a left winger is starting to show (we have reverted to 3 in the center of midfield). I think Rafael has established himself as easily our best right back. (in my opinion anyway) He was good before he went off. Them Brown came on and didn't do much. Not sure whether or not to be happy with a point.

I said before the game that I would be happy with a point. City were all over us in the first 10 min, but I felt we played OK as the game went on. A fair result, but with all the money City has spent they would not be happy.

Neckerchiefs are the new gloves... LOL!

Could be a tough game away at Villa, but i think their form at the mo could be an advantage for us. I expect us to win this one. Hopefully Giggsy's back on board for this one

These draws are really starting to kill us. Could be six points behind by this time tomorrow. We were very lucky this morning.

Yeah I was right pissed off at our performance yesterday - at least until we were two down. Villa were all over us like a rash. Very concerned about Berba's form - a man of his quality should be doing better with chances like he had in the first half.

Stunning comeback though - great to see Kiko score - I'm a big Macheda fan and think he has massive potential but he's got to start scoring goals and this was top draw, and then Nani stopped crossing like Leo Bertos and more like Ronaldo and Vida got the equalizer.

So thanks to Brucey (and Danny on loan) we are only three points off, not six. Wigan at home next weekend, absolutely no excuses, and Rooney could be back (very interesting to see the reception - especially has he always scores against Wigan).

We'll give winning the league this season a very good nudge I reckon, despite the ups and downs so far.

Edit:  Liverpool.

Yeah agreed, I am a huge Macheda fan and I just about shat myself when I read that article about him going to Lazio for good. Interesting selections to be made this week, Berbatov to start or get dropped to the bench? I fancy he'll start because they won't want Rooney up there by himself. I personally hope he doesn't get booed. He's committed to us for five more years - lets leave it at that.

I'm still of the belief we need a left winger - preferaby in January. If Nani breaks his leg now we are really in the sh*t in that department.

Valencia back sooner than expected apparently. Dunno where I read that.

nzmanu - another wing option could be Cleverley - if we have injuries we will recall him in the January window. He's going to be quality.

MUFC's my middle name
Of all the ways to show your support for the Reds, changing your name by deed poll is one of the more unusual options. That didnt stop David Wood however, who now goes by the extended moniker of David Andy Manchester United Fluffyduck Cantona Wood.

After surviving Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, a rare breed of cancer on two separate occasions, the 32-year old from Nuneaton decided to live life to the full and was desperate to incorporate the initials MUFC into his name.

I do tend to do these things, I'm mad as a balloon! he joked. I have survived cancer twice, the first time I was four and again when I was nine. Going through chemotherapy is never easy, especially when you are that young, so ever since I've always tried to live life the best I can.

I am a huge Manchester United fan and wanted to add the club to my name. Cantona was my favourite player so he had to be in there, but Fluffyduck is completely random.

Despite Davids love for his new title, there is one downside to the change.

My girlfriend now refuses to marry me because she doesnt want to be called Mrs Manchester United Fluffyduck Cantona Wood!" added Dave. "Most people think its brilliant though and I love that I have MUFC in my name.

Surely Lindegaard doesn't need his own thread? I'd be disappointed if we werelinked with Lloris, Neuer, de Gea etc and then got Lindegaard as number one. I reckon we NEED de Gea before Chelsea, Barca or Real get him. If we got de Gea then you'd have to say we'd have one of the best number twos in the world considering he's ahead of another starting premier league keeper as the number one for Denmark.

The keeper one is interesting. Im sure whoever we end up getting, it will be someone who we have been watching for a while - and the boss knows what hes doing.

Will be good for Roo to get half an hour against Wigan. Hopefully Kiko gets a go with Berba from the start.

Bebe's goal in the reserves was top notch!
