probably hard lines on the red card.
Muted comments however on the goal RM had disallowed in the first half. Surely that was as big a call as the Nani incident?

Roy Keane said it was red.
He also told your supporters to stop being bitter.
I think you should listen to your once violent and often thuggish former captain.

Thought this was brilliant.
Probably can't laugh for too long, you'll be out for blood once we get back from Bucharest
First 30 mins we were great but in the end were lucky to even get the draw. Midfield were woeful. Chelsea should have won it in the last min.
Thought we would choke like Arsenal did last year.
United fans missing in action?
Another pretty average performance today against the second bottom side. Lots of changes made but the 3 points makes it OK.
Watched the Everton game and I'm glad we don't have to play them again. At home(usually) they are hard to beat and they did deserve the points. Even when they were down to 10 men they looked dangerous on the break.Even with the 15 point lead there is still some work to do.
We have a much harder run in than City.
I savour ugly wins at this time of the season; and I agree it's not over till it's over. It's ours to lose, but surely not after last year?
Who knows what the international window will bring?

There's no way you guys are going to let slip a 15 point lead from here. Title race is virtually over.

"virtually". nuf said.
has anyone ever choked a lead of this size?
arsenal choked a good-un in 2002-03, cant remember how much
Arsenal beat Utd in 1997/98 by one point after Utd were eleven points clear.

Newcastle choked and handed it to United in the 90's didn't they when Keegan came out with the famous "I would love it" meltdown on TV.

Another 3 points and it gets harder for City.
Not a really good performance from Utd. but did just enough to hang on to a first half RVP goal.Sunderland played a lot better in the second half although Utd were poor and kept giving the ball away. It is always difficult playing up there especially against a side that has been labeled the dirtiest in the EPL. They have had more cards than any other club, and they got a few more last night.

A win is a win.
Who has kep enough in reserve for FA cup?
Utd got what they deserved against Chelsea. Rotation might work but the team out today was never going to win. Rio again cost us as I have seen milk turn quicker, and bringing on Giggs is just like playing a man short.
Utd did have some chances, RVP should have got a couple and a great save from Cheh kept a clean sheet.
The game against City next weekend will be a tester. A win and it is all over.
That is very cool.
That is very cool.
How on earth is that cool? It is the most plastic of gestures, by the most plastic of clubs. No matter how many acoustic engineers they have, day-trippers from Surrey and Japanese tourists will not generate a proper football atmosphere

Mate - I was living in Manchester a few years ago. It is a plastic club that has sold off any tradition it once had

Don't believe I ever claimed to be an expert. You said I know fuck all about united and my comments were based purely on what I read in the UK papers. I stated that it wasn't - my comments are based on what I saw on match days when I lived in Manchester.

We're you living there or were you a day tripper?
My wife is from Manchester so we were there on holiday.

Because we will lose, I'd like to recall this to put me in a happy place
It is a pity that I am not a betting man as I would have backed City the moment the team came up. How on earth could you play Giggs when you have so much talent on the bench. As mentioned many times this season Utd with Giggs are effectively playing with 10 men. Even playing the bottom side is bad enough but to play him against a team like City borders on the suicidal. I really don't understand AF's logic.
He had a hand in both Citys goals. Not taking anything away from City, Utd could have a least got a draw. Am still confident that we will win the league but it is now a question of by how many points.
