Ex Football Kingz and Melbourne Victory keeper Michael Theoklitos appears to be on the outer at Norwich City after just one competition game for the Canaries.

Unfortunately that one game was the season-opener at Carrow Road when visitors Colchester United pumped 7 goals past him in the all-time record 1-7 home demolition. Three of those goals would be directly put down to inept keeping by Theoklitos.

Theoklitos was brought in by Bryan Gunn, who was sacked after just that one game.

Norwich then poached Colchester manager Paul Lambert (a champions league winner with Borussia Dortmund in 1997) who promptly took one look at Theoklitos and got Spurs keeper Ben Alnwick in on loan.

Alnwick was injured against Sunderland in the League Cup a few days back and 18 year old Norwich academy keeper Declan Rudd was brought in.

But today Newcastle keeper Fraser Forster has been brought in on a months loan, giving me the impression that Australian Michael Theoklitos will be wishing he stayed at Melbourne Victory.

Sadly the Canaries appear to have signed the wrong keeper in the first place. Glenn Moss is a far superior goalkeeper:-)

Saw this happening as soon as Gunn was sacked. Sympathy for Theoklitos but I hope Norwich are relegated.

You'll have to excuse Granville as a Colchester fan he's more than a little annoyed at your filthy budgies stealing their manager.

How's my driving? - Whine here

Well if Colchester really wanted to keep him they should have stumped up more cash or renegotiated his contract. As I understand it anyway, Lambert has got it in his head that Norwich are a so-called "bigger' club and like anyone in management was looking to step up the ladder. He asked the Colchester board if he could talk with Norwich, they said no, so he resigned the next day along with Ian Culverhouse and then went to Norwich who appointed him without an interview.
Im not going to wish anything against Colchester United, but if Norwich finish higher than Colchester at the end of the season I will pop down to Le Dome and think about DKP22 as I get the first one in.

And what on earth makes you think that? Considering Moss only just got a starting spot in the Victory team over Langerak. Moss is easily the most over-rated footballer in the A-League and he is finally being exposed at Melbourne as I told many of you would happen.

Surely Paston would've been picked up by Real Madrid now if he was as good as you say? Give it a rest honestly you're starting to sound like a broken record. That is if anyone listens to what you say anymore.

The only reason Paston didn't get picked up by Real Madrid was because Moss kidnapped him during the crucial negotiation stage.

My mistake, of course

All I have said is Paston > Moss and Crowther.

Considering most of this forum constantly degrade Paston and make Moss into a god of his own religion I am just standing up for the "little guy".

Very harsh to judge Crowther before he has played a competitive game for the club.
The broken record call is right. It's fantastic that you back a player so much, but he isn't the "little guy" like you say.
You know we belong together...

i agree, how could you even sugest that moss is better than theoliktos? he was quality last year and rightly got signed in england. moss is too short for 1 and is not even in the same league as theoklitos. im sure melbourne would have him back straight away, and if not im sure the nix would.

good luck to our new boy crowther today, i look forward to seeing how he goes!

Its all a matter of opinion, but from my point of view I wouldn't want him in goal for any team I follow. Not sure what Norwich will do with him now. He'll either be farmed out on loan somewhere, will get paid his basic wages for the duration of his contract or will be released and his contract paid out. A big waste of money by the Canaries.
They already have a decent keeper in Declan Rudd so I don't know even if he will get a run in the ressies.
Victory are welcome to him.

Rip up his contract and  export him back to Aussie.

Thrown the toys out of his cot? If he could have kept his cot clean, he wouldn't be in this position. Although Norwich were crap in that game, he did contribute to the goal count with at least 3 errors of judgement.
