yeah I know it might not be that long a thread at seasons end but our season starts this Friday at home to United...Sheffield that is.  Excited at Lita joining..we needed striker more than the Nix did...

Thinking about setting up an occasional meet in Wellington for a beer or catching up at one of the pre match session for the Nix.  I met a Boro supporter briefly at the open day and have met 2 others in Wellington in last year or so.

My allegiance goes back to birth..grandfather supported them at Ayresome Park until he got too old to battle the thugs getting to and from matches.  I used to get monthly programmes, pics etc.

I saw them beat Brum 2-0 in 2007.  Only time Ive seen them play.  Have just signed up to Boroworld to get match highlights on the PC etc.

Cmon Boro...

I think he's making disparaging remarks about the city not the stadium.  Stadium is state of the art of course as are training facilities.  Middlesbrough is like most other British industrial cities IMHO and I dont judge any really.

Sort of like ROF eh....I walked to it from my B and B and the supporters club I went to b4 the game...its akin to ours except there is no concourse and its a bit further..separated by  motorway of course.  Ayresome Park was of course right in the middle or rows of Terrace houses..given its age that was the logical place for it.  New stadia are invariably on city fringes or in industrial parks..eg Wembley.  Even thats along walk from the trains.

I reckon you'll finish top half this season.

Three for me, and two for them.
