The young Dinamo Zagreb and Croatian star midfielder has revealed that he turned down Arsenal's offer to sign him alongside his friend and Croatian teammate Eduardo Da Silva last summer, preferring to wait for another season before moving to a big European league.

It also seems that Barcelona are lining up to sign him this summer, Spanish journalists have just been to Croatia and produced a series of interviews and profiles on Modric.

Apparently he's pretty good.

If he can play left wing he'd have been a good acquisition. If he were to play attacking midfielder I'd say he'd have a tough job getting a start with Cesc and Denilson.

I thik he would settle better in England than in Spain. Having Eduardo in the side would be a big plus to our attempts at signing him.
