Ashley Cole for me.

Away from the pitch I imagine most footballers are pretty decent chaps no matter how strange that seems when you watch them playing (El Hadj Diouf is supposed to be interesting and intelligent, John Terry always seems to be helping small businesses, Lampard does a lot for charity, etc).  It appears like Cole is an A grade c**t, who seems as obnoxious and full of his own self importance off the pitch as he is on it.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

F#cksticks!

Now that would be a very bitter dose of irony for me.

Judas Campbell goes to Toon and C*nt Bellamy goes to Spurs.

Might as well get Ricki to sign Payne and make it a clean sweep.

El Hadji Diouf
Rooney
Adebayor
Ashley Cole
Cannavaro
Daniele De Rossi
Ballack
Jon Obi Mikel or Michael Essien (arrogant, petulant dickhead last time they played Arsenal - annoyed me so much but I can't remember which it was so I'll hate both).
Chris Payne
Maicon
Luis Fabiano
Cristiano Ronaldo
Puyol
van Bommel
Alan Smith

Used to hate Drogba but after reading about all the humanitarian work he does I'm warming to him.  I hope he does something horrible soon, though, so I can go back to hating him.  Feels strange not hating him.

Chelsea and City are as bad as each other.  I may have this wrong, but before Abramavich came (maybe 2 or 3 seasons before) hadn't Chelsea slipped as low as 15th or less (could have wrong team entirely)?

Also, here's a hilarious timeline of douchebaggery: http://www.thefinalthird.com/2010/02/14/the-ashley-cole-timeline/

Nah. Chelsea were in and around European places (predominantly UEFA Cup or former Cup Winners Cup) for a number of seasons in the late 90s and early 00s before Roman came. Never pushed for the title but were always a good side.

Three for me, and two for them.

we were 11th in 95/96 but after winning the fa cup in 97 (my favourite game) we got steadily better and were 3rd in 98/99 then 5th, 6th, 6th, 4th in the seasons leading up to the takeover

Watching him up against penailties (when at United) was always 'fun'. Instead of diving right or left, he would basically just fall over backwards.

His best match was the FA Cup semifinal against Arsenal during their unbeaten league season, when we beat them 1-0. He made some ridiculous saves.

Yeah, Eboue is a far greater human being than Giggs.
