Next seasons manager?

Well from what everyones saying it sounds like Zola will either leave or be pushed. I can't imagine he will want to continue to be treated the way he has been by a prick like Sullivan. Tbh tho I'm not sure what to think about losing him. The team has been crap this year and yes there has been all sorts of distractions, but I struggle to remember a worse year than this one has been - and that includes our last relegation (in fact we are guaranteed to end the season on less points than the 42 we were relegated with back in 2002/03). Of course we staying are up tho and that has to be an achievement in itself.

Now that the season is nearing its end, the transfer gossip has begun in earnest with the names Grant and Jol being bandied about as possible replacements.  I also think one of the red top papers mentioned Steve Bruce as well. I have to admit Bruce appeals to me most out of those three, but Jol was fantastic for the Spuds a few years back and he has a good eye for talent (something that I personally think GZ aint so good at). Not a fan of Grant at all, and there will be riots on my street (well in my house anyway) if he gets the nod.

Anyway I've created a poll to see who your favourite would be. I've included Mark Hughes although I haven't officially heard him linked with a move (although anyone who has kicked a football will probably get mentioned between now and August).

Hughes and McClaren are the likely choices, followed by Jol.

I wouldn't mind seeing McClaren - garbage international manager but very good club manager (he is about to win the Dutch league with FC Twente today).  I love sparky Hughes to bits, but I fear that he would create a battling, physical side (in the same mould of what he did with Blackburn) which is successful but not really in the West Ham way.  Jol would be good, but I don't like the Spurs history.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

He looks like Superintendent Chalmers, so it has to be him.

Whoever it is will get the worlds biggest hospital pass, with Scott Parker the only player to still be around (maybe) and bugger all funds to bring in some much needed talent.
It will be another season of scrapping it out in relegation-ville.
