Anyone remember him playing for Norwich City as well as Miramar Rangers? I do vaguely. Anyway, I was researching something to do with the carrot munchers and his name popped up so I followed the link to wikipaedia for a read to find out what became of him.....

I remember him well.  A ginger.

He did some coaching while he was here and I remember going to a session with him at Redwood Park as a 10 year-old - there was a photo of him in the paper which I took along and got signed....funny what you remember.

Sounds like he had a bad side......

It certaintly came as a surprise to me to read it. I'm surprised HN hasn't said anything yet.

Interesting story, and I remember him well.

However, he can't be doing it that tough ....

From the article, "In 2008/09 Mendham played for Sproughton Sports in the Suffolk and Ipswich League, Division 4" yet he was sentenced to 7.5 years (reduced to 5) in February 2007.

There's probably quite a few 'big names gone bad' stories out there. Could make for a decent thread.

I know, I know, its serious!
