Every year there are players whose clubs get relegated yet the player will join almost any other club to stay up in the top flight.

Who are the players from the relegated clubs you think will stay in the EPL for ego and/or skill reasons?

-------------------------------------------------
I personally think Reading will struggle to hold on to Hunt & Shorey. Wouldnt suprise me if Hahnemememann (the keeper) moved on too.

can also see a few of Birminghams players leaving ASAP (Fadds to SPL)

opinions, comments and additions to the list?

hopefully, their desperation will extend to some of them (about 10!!) joining Hull City (if we do go up!)

edit - we don't need Hanenanenaadoobiedooman -we've got Bo Myhill

Shockingly for some, I'd be happy to see Robbie Savage sign for us.

Leroy Rosenior - would be good to snap up

But to be honest I don't know enough about those 3 clubs players and mainly what they would cost in relation to our budget to comment on anyone else from a Tigers perspective.

More generally, I agree that McFadden seems to have found some form, I wonder where that spanish? loan striker of Brum's (Zarate) will end up?

I hope Savage doesn't get signed up by one of the promoted teams, it's taken long enough to get rid of him from the Prem let's not go undo all that hard work now.

Three for me, and two for them.

Yes, he scored an absolute screamer of a goal earlier this season....vs Spurs I think.  Played well in a few other Brum games I saw this season.........

Definitely Stephen Kelly and James McFadden at Birmingham, probably Mauro Zurate and possibly Maik Taylor too. Definitely Nicky Shorey, maybe Dave Kitson, Marcus Hanneman and James Harper at Reading. Only Giles Barnes at Derby, seeing as Hossam Ghaly is only on loan from Spurs. Maybe Tyrone Mears to someone like Fulham or Sunderland.
Too many of the Reading and Birmingham players haven't done it this year. Kevin Doyle and Stephen Hunt were both found out this season, and I thought Garry O'Connor would be a big player for Birmingham, but was a huge disappointment. And Derby? Not so much disappointing, just a whole heap of players well short of Premiership quality. The likes of Savage and Roy Carroll will be an asset to them in the Championship, otherwise Jewell will gut the club this summer.

Savage will not make it back to the prem. forgot about larson (think most do as fadds gets the limelight)

another one who seems to float around is Mceavely (sp?) wouldnt suprise me to see him jump in with someone like stoke.

you dont rate Hunt TheJam? asides from the keeper i thought he as one of readings better players this year...not that it says much

Can't see ANY of the Derby players staying in the EPL. Maybe one or two from the other teams, but they'd be looking at squad (not first team) status I would think. Fact is, this year's dropping teams have been pretty poor. It's not like 3 (2?) years ago when West Ham went down with a bunch of great players, who all got signed up by other teams very quickly.

He is probably one of their better few, but his 07/08 season pales beside his 06/07 one. Like almost all of his team-mates. And he looks like he's off Lord Of The Rings.
