Went to the historic win over Chalton last night, awesome.

The own goal was the most bizarre I've ever seen with the ball being deflected by McCormack onto his post then deflect onto him and then him appearing to throw it like a keeper throw into his own net.

To be honest, I watched the A League highlights on SKY after I got back from the game and I do believe that The A League is as good, if not better then the Championship!

You may be able to give me some insight into how Rory Fallon's going. I see he's got a couple of starts and plays off the bench and has two goals. Plymouth paid a fair whack for him do the supporters think he's any good?

Dan Gosling been awesome! First saw him a few years back as a kid and even then he looked something special. All the way through the England youth and junior squads - he's one for the future and he was always going to go to a Premier League club before too long. He actually went to train with Chelsea (at Mourinho's request) last season, along with another very promising youngster (Summerfield if I remember right). He's already proving himself to be a real pro.

Looks like the Scottish connection between Moyes and Sturrock is going to lead to further business, we've just also taken Jutkiewicz on loan from Everton.

I'm pleased that he's gone to a club like Everton (apart from it being my brother's team!) as Moyes is a manager that will give him a chance if he's good enough.

Being a selling club sucks in the Transfer Window though. Here's what SkySports have to say about him:-

Everton have confirmed they have agreed a deal with Plymouth Argyle to take Dan Gosling to Goodison Park.

The defender has come through the ranks at Home Park and made his first-team debut aged just 16.

He has made 10 Championship appearances for the play-off chasing Pilgrims this season and has been involved with the England U17 and U18 sides.

Gosling only signed a contract with Paul Sturrock's side back in September, committing himself to the club until 2010, but the lure of the Premier League has proved too great.

He is not expected to feature for the first-team this term but has been highlighted as an exciting prospect for the future by Toffees boss David Moyes.

The deal is expected to be finalised later in the week and will represent the second piece of business completed between the two sides this week after Lucas Jutkiewicz completed a loan move to the south coast outfit on Monday.

Southend bid for Fallon accepted
By All At Sea fanzine - 03/01/2008 13:11
<!-- Article Start -->

Southend are believed to have had a 250,000 bid for Plymouth striker Rory Fallon accepted. Steve Tilson is a long-term admirer of the skilful forward, who joined the Pilgrims from Swansea City last January. However, he has found first-team football at Home Park hard to come by and the Plymouth Evening Herald claim a bid from the Shrimpers has been accepted.

The Southend Echo appears to back up the rumours, claiming today that Southend have bid 250,000 for a striker from a Championship club.

Steve Tilson has been looking to boost his forward line for several months, and attempted to sign Fallon back in January 2006, but the striker instead opted for Swansea.

Fallon, 25, has netted 48 league goals in 129 starts for Barnsley, Shrewsbury (loan), Swindon, Yeovil (loan), Swansea and Plymouth.

He stands at 6ft 2ins tall, and will be remembered by Blues fans for the double he scored against the Shrimpers in the game at the Liberty Stadium which saw Blues clinch promotion from League One in April 2006.
