Hello, Apology accepted. I am a subscriber to Pompey and they send me newsletters-The club means a great deal to me.
It hurt like hell when she was put into administration and deducted 9 points...I hated Harry and Mandaric and I do not like to hate at all. To watch the boys and the supporters carry on playing with pride and they did it in style will forever be emblazoned in my heart...I will give Harry and his damn mate a hard time...Crooked bastards!

whats wrong will milan?? i remember chucking spare change into a coffin that was being carried down frogmore road cuz we were going out of business untill milan stepped in. he saved us then, built us up and then sold us on to someone who he thought could take us further. Yes he made some money out of the club but who could argue with that.

Harry took us up gave us the best football we've ever seen at Fratton. He went down the road but he also came back and proved himself again by keeping us up. Yes he prob knew the spending was unsustainable but he didnt keep signing the cheques did he? The management of the club should have said no. If you want a villian to hate then Peter Storie would be the number one target.

There was a matter he did'nt attend to that Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs attended to in the end...I like the way you term it.."Yes he made some money out of the club..." If he wanted to save the club, then he would have implemented a robust, sustainable financial model at the outset and the club would have had to adhere to it-As you stated..."he thought he could take us further", this avenue would have stood him and the club in good financial stead and all compliancy regulations would have been met. For me it is about the CLUB and it's humble beginnings it's history...People i.e. come and go, but not the club.
Successive generations of families have been born with Pompey as part and parcel of their respective family trees...Pompey deserves to be Lauded...Not the way she was demoted through complete and utter Greed, the hunger for recognition...individual that is and finally through unskilled management...The whole f**ken world watched her demise at the hands of incompetents...Avram Grant did the best he could under such adverse conditions and his and the 1st teams kindness towards Tug and other employees at the time has not gone unnoticed.

So WellingtonPFC, it is fine to agree to disagree, and I shall in the interim leave it at that.

sorry are you saying that milan could have sold the club but have imposed financial regulations upon the purchaser restricting them to a prudent spending plan?! im not sure if you have sold the club to someone else you have a say in such matters? you do realise that he sold it to gaydamak before the club went to financial ruin?

HMRC came in against the club after it had been through a number of buyers after gaydamak ie al fahim and the al farrage brothers and defaulted to Chainrai. Milan was long gone.

as for the people, i am one of them. A resident of Fareham (a suburb of portsmouth) my entire life and a season ticket holder for over half that time i know what the club stands for. I'll be at the watford game sat cheering the boys on.

To get a news letter from pompey and to post a few links trawled up on the internet isnt quite the same. Frankly im not sure if you have your facts straight. You sound like you think Milan owned the club b4 it went into admin.

As for Harry yes he aint the most popular guy at Fratton and some people still hate him but i assure you its the ones writing the cheques who are to blame. What football manager in his right mind says oh sorry i dont want Peter Crouch, Jermain Defoe, and Lassana Diarra, if the bloke upstairs say we can afford him?!
