So how long has Adams honestly got now?

OK they are broke with a crap ground and have sold players. But Adams has been, according to Pompey fans, shockingly tactically naive, (so much so they want Curbishley in). So judging the way prem football club boards work, how long has he got?

I personally think they will bring in El Tel as a mentor which will be good comedy value.

Pity I like Portsmouth as a city.

Plus Kranjcar just got injured which is a shame because he was just starting to find form.

Adams will be gone within two weeks is my bet unless they win 3 in a row or something.

Adams has proven he is not a Manager at this level. His days are numbered for sure.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

When Curbs came to the Hammers I read from an Addicks fan that he would only earn 40 points for the season and not to expect anything more. well, we beat United on his first game in charge which silenced the critics somewhat. Funny thing was, we went on to have a very poor season and only survived relegation on the very last day of the season. So if its premiership survival they want - he's the man. If its returning to the top half of the league, keep looking.

P.S. Hayden Mullins signed for Pompey overnight. A great loss to the Hammers. He found it hard getting a start once Scott Parker joined, but he was great at closing things down in the last 20 mins of a match. He was even given the captains armband a few games back. A useful signing for Pomey and brings great experience having played in Championship playoffs (and promotion to the top flight), an FA Cup final and last day relegation survival. Also touted to be the fittest player in the Irons squad.

Real shame, cos I couldn't think of any player that would be more welcome to take over from le Prof.

Dennis is not a replacement either cos he don't fly!

Well as much as i love Mr Arsenal, if he cant cut it as a manager at Portsmouth then he needs to stay away from Arsenal, We are a club that survives thought very smart acquisitions and shrewd tactical analysis of our opponents. I really don't think Adams would qualify for either of those qualitys... yet.

Back on the bottle, falling down stairs and rehearsing a Mid Summer Night's Dream within a fortnight.

...and at his drunkest still better than any Spud centre half. Ever!

Although Sol was pretty good, when he moved to the decent half of Norf Laandin.

Alas he is heading for a fall and it appears to be management. Ain't looking like it's the gig for him (already relegated mighty Wycombe). If he fancies welcoming me to an Emirates stadium tour I wouldn't mind if he drops the management game...
