Doesnt take into account future opponents, rather season form and recent form (last 8 games) as a guide to how many points a team could accumulate.

Great predictor. I got us into 4th!

It just goes to show it's mathematically possibly...

So the team that is on top can't be caught? Sounds like a great predictor for a man u fan.

I had United and Arse come out on equal points but United had superior goal difference.

I did say that it doesnt predict future matches rather a progression of season form and recent form to guess what points teams are likely to accumulate.

Of our next 7 games we play teams currently 3,4 and 5 on the table so wont be easy, the other 4 are outside the top 10.

Arsenal in their next 7 games play teams currently 4 and 5 on the table and two other top 10 sides and 3 outside the top 10.

Both have 3 more games at home and 4 away. It is far from over.

That is what I'm concerned about too. Hoping we can thrash some teams like we were at the start of the season (COME BACK RvP).

The whole top 8 is congested:

Current top 3 duking it out for the title
Remaining 5 scrambling for magic spot #4 and then 5 & 6.

And the draw for the remaining games make it so hard to pick a winner and #4.

It's worse than the A-League race for the play-offs.

I hate to admit it but I think the @rse will get the title but only because they have a better run in than ManU.

Yeah to be honest, I'm not that confident we will grab forth, It'll be tight! and definately go to the wire.

'Pool have got the easier fixtures, but they got some catching up to do. I think neutrals want Villa to get it, mainly coz they are a down-to-earth club, with British players throughout and a british manager.

Whereas we've spent 200m+ to try grab it....still, hope we do get 4th, if we don't, Season will be seen as a failure, which is complete nonsense. We've never finished higher than 9th before this season lol.
