Well a fairly good night in premiership. Great seeing Sunderland win againts Tottenham enjoyed that game. Aston villa liverpool was a boring game however great goal from Stevie G and well played game by Torres is thought. Newcastle looks like a great team, very good squad! Man City i didnt see winning that game i thought West Ham woulda won that but 1st day of premiership so u neva knw. Derby good result for them in a way against Ports. And Blackburn good come back win against Middlesborough. Santa Cruz and Derbyshire with 2 great goals with pretty much both there first touches as substitutes. Everton gd stuff. BIG game tonight that i cant wait to see is United Reading. Anderson and Nani on bench i thnk. Dnt thnk either starting but surely will see Nani come on. I say 3-0. Rooney Giggs and Ronaldo.

Sunderland vs Spuds was an awful game, but I am happy that the mackems got the three points.

Great goal by Stevie G to take the points for the mickey mousers, and Noocastle looked good against Bolton, who will struggle this season.

Gutted about West Ham result - if we cannot get points a team that had been thrown together in the last week, then we have plenty to worry about.

Man City looked good considering the short time the full team was put together, top half of the table this season.

Newcastle looked good but Bolton was terrible, I reckon this is the year that Newcastle will start preforming to their fullest...the last few seasons they ave been terrible.

Sunderland vs Spuds was scrappy and awful game to watch but good to see Roy's Boyz come off with a win.

Everton won of course, expect nothing less....Did good most of the game but some parts of their game that still need to work on but overall good win, Weird goal by Osman...Top 5 this season for sure!

Man City are going to be alright this year. Don't rate Eriksson but he's made some good signings, Bojinov is class.

Also i'm furious they aren't televising the Arsenal game live.

Eriksson is a great Manager, Won the Portuguese Liga three times with Benfica, the Coppa Italia with three different clubs, UEFA Cup winner at Goteborg and Serie A with Lazio.....

If it wasn't for the england preforming badly at the World Cup he would ave been one of their best Managers. Leading up to the World Cup, he did pretty well with England in all international competitions that they were in...So I expect Man city to do well this season with him as their manager.

I agree that Eriksson is a good manager, and personally thought he was harshly treated during his time as England coach.  Basically, the team isn't very good, so his record (2 semi finals and 2 quarter finals in 4 competitions, I think) was ok.  Let's see how well Steve Mac does......if he gets them.

What annoys me (as a West Ham fan) was that Man City signed an entire team in about a week, so they were not used to playing as a team.  They were there for the taking, but we played sh*t.

West Ham need a play maker in midfield to lead the team, I watched the game....It was almost like they didn't know what to do with the ball when they got it...Looking at the West Ham midfield there is no one in there that could lead the team and create things...Also Bellamy is a decent player but he is going to be more of a drain on West Ham then a plus.

Nah Bellamy will be good for them. Ye proabably just missing Reocoker. How did Parker play tho?

Lol at Spurs. I think you might need to do a bit better than that if you want to play with the big boys in the Champions League.

Ahhhh, good night of football. Man im glad the EPL is back. Went mental when Chopra scored the winner what a goal to condemn Spurs to the foot of the table. Fell asleep (or is that comad out?) towards the end of the Bolton Newcastle game, but woke up to watch most of the Villa Pool match, although i was on and off throughout that, definately on when my mate hit the roof after Gerrard's free kick.

Three for me, and two for them.

Arsenal were all over Fulham. It was just a stupid Lehmann mistake that put us behind. Excellent goal from Hleb to seal the game!
