Wheel Power FC smashed Nova 2010 FC in the Torbay Sunday League clash in Torquay, Devon.
It was 5-0 after five minutes and 20-0 by half time before the league leaders netted a further 38 strikes.
On form brothers Robbie and Stuart Bowker scored 28 times between them, with Robbie bagging 18 of those.
The scoreline beats the previous record Cornish side Illogan's 55-0 thrashing of Madron FC in November 2010.
Nova arrived for the match last Sunday at Wheel Power's ground with just five players but managed to get a team of nine together to face their ten-man opponents.
Wheel Power's Stuart, 21, said: "At 50-0 they'd had enough but the referee told them they must carry on playing or they would risk being fined.
"After the final whistle a couple of their players shook hands but the rest just got into their cars and drove off, but you can't really blame them for that.
"They weren't even bottom of the league."
The winning side's player/manager Andy Woodward, who scored just once, added: "The referee's biro went blunt after a while.
"It was a bit embarrassing but fair play to the other team for carrying on - they were really sporting.
"The result will certainly help at the end of the season if it goes down to goal difference."
Nova's Lewis Parker, 60, said: "A lot of the players didn't turn up so we expected to lose but not by that much."
The 58-0 demolition dwarfs the 13-0 record win in the English professional game, though far higher scores have been recorded in leagues around the world.
Australia set a new standard at international level in 2001 with a 31-0 defeat of American Samoa.
Madagascan team AS Adema claimed a 149-0 win a year later, though the achievement was undermined drastically by all 149 goals being scored by the opposition in protest at a refereeing decision.
