See 'The Press' front page article, basically laughing at NZ sports
compared to football and Nelsen's contract. He turned down a
cricket career for football, he was mocked for this. but now his
salary = whole black caps team salary or All Blacks, annually.

said earlier on this forum 'mediocre sport, mediocre
wages.' But I really think you guys are missing the
point. As Murray 'Penis Head' Deaker said: we're going after
the 'big' 4 this year!!! The Cricket World Cup (cricket's
cool so I can accept that one). The America's Cup
(FFS). The Egg Chasing World Cup. AND THE NETBALL WORLD
CUP!!!!!!!!!!! Actually, to honest, it really does
repulse me now how the Deakerites try to build sporting
'events' into something that they're clearly not.....

Only three facts are important.
1) Ryan is the highest paid New

2) Football has the highest number of registered players
in New Zealand.

12 countries playing rugby? More like 4 who have any sort of a
chance at the world cup. The rest get a hiding from these 4..
Footballs has 100s...therefore we will never get any funding
from the likes of sparc, since they only fund sports that have a
chance at winning at (therefore that no other countries play). Was
just having a look through SPARCs website, and al their policies,
its a laugh.
