TV3 Sport news had an item about Sven the Swede taking over at Man
City - and that's great. But, and it's a big but, they had an
on-screen graphic at the top of the item with Sven and a Man U
crest. Now I'm not a fan of either side, but having lived in the UK
for 9 years I know how much love is lost between the two sides.
There really is no excuse for such an elementary mistake - shame on
TV3.

I saw that item too and thought 'how could you screw this one up!',
however it mite have refered to the bit in the item about Sven at
one stage was reported to be taking over from Alex Fergusson

they have stuffed up quite a bit on TV3, i guess its just a lack of
knowledge on the people doing the graphics, but you can get
in trouble for that sort of thing especially if the story is a
negative one which would reflect badly on the wrong
company/person/club whatever.

They actually do it on a regular basis and not just sports
items.
I remember not long ago an item on Pinochet (former Chilean president) and the had the Argentinian flag behind him. Happened to catch the same item on Nightline the same night and they had fixed it.
They are just a bunch of dumbasses.

Yeah I saw it too. I wasn't sure whether to be
peeved cos they obviously have no idea about football, or to just
be satisfied that football made the news for a change.

Face it, on TV 3, Tv1 & Sky, unless it's Manure, it doesn't
count for TV time. The only time Manure are not shown is when the
suffer a rare heavy defeat, then the coverage seems to accidently
disappear!!
