Yeah, seen the first four episodes or so - enjoying it. I believe that the managers found the cameras quite intrusive and distracting.

Read online that Mackem fans compared CEO Martin Bain to David Brent.....but thought he came across quite well in what I've seen so far.

I'm watching it, been interesting so far.

Fans in the stand are terrible. You'd think the players were throwing it in their own net the way they carry on.

Passion.

Three for me, and two for them.

So a little like Arsenal fan T.V. then?

Managed to watch it all just before Christmas, quite enjoyed it, and even thought we would have stayed up at one point...  quite similar to the "premier passions" doco they did on us in the late 90's when we got relegated then as well...

one thing it doesn't really detail is how bad the football really was...

Martin Bain, was derided by the fans, but i thought he actually came over OK on this.. but of course he did oversee back to back relegation's which takes a pretty special effort.

Looking forward to season 2 already, looks much more promising :-)

I know very little about the last two Sunderland seasons before watching this.

I thought Martin Bain came across incredibly naive the whole season. Simon Grayson was pretty candid on the episode just before his departure. Definitely came across like Bain wasn't holding up his side of things.

Great show this. Mrs has really gotten into it with me, good eye opener for both of us into the running of a football club.

Watching it as well. Just amazing. Beautifully shot and edited. Why can't tv broadcasting of games look like this!?!

Sky Sports News reported earlier this week that free agent Gary Rowett is also understood to be on Millwall’s list along with former player Tim Cahill, but Rowett is not interested in speaking to League One Sunderland.

Note: Cahill possibly to Millwall. Can someone actually explain to me what his million dollars plus actually achieved for the A League? Sunderland might also be interested in Gareth Ainsworth.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!
