Hey fellas, I've already got seperate $10 bets on the mighty Man Utd to win the Prem again this year and have takena realistic approach to the A-League by backing Adelaide to win (plus put an extra $10 on the Nix of course!), but am stuck for who to back to win the Championship?
I'd like to back Bristol City($22), being my home team, but have a feeling that Birmingham($7) will win it easy. Also, there's the added factor of QPR($7) with their new fortunes to spend. Any idea who would be a good bet?
I'm wanting to put a multi-bet of $10 on Man U, Adelaide and Championship winner, just for a laugh, so needing some help.
Cheers.

Im picking Reading will be able to bounce right back up, had a side good enough to win the league easily a few yrs ago, time to get stronger in the Premier League, and parachute payments to keep their better players this year, only problem is they are not great odds, $9.

A little bit dated (a number of clubs have made half-decent signings since written), but here is a bit of a backgrounder ... http://www.bet123.net/wp/football/430/coca-cola-championship-preview-200809
But who knows? Much as I would like Burnley to be thereabouts, best bet for them is promotion through the back door. I think Wolves might be worth a look at - although they were playing pretty ordinary stuff last year, they do have that sleeping giant feel about them.
Quite unpredictable really. Who would have picked Hull, Stoke and Bristoll up near the top this time last year? The championship is so much more interesting than the Premier League in this respect - pity they didn't show a bit more of it here on the box. Any box.
I know, I know, its serious!

I think it's be a fight between Birmingham and either Forest,Reading or Sheffeild United.

Birmingham will be there or there abouts. Reading will struggle to win the league without Kitson and probably Shorey and Hunt. Wolves could be a cheeky bet if they hold on to Sylvan-Blake and I also fancy Charlton to be surprise a few people this season.
All I do is make the stuff I would've liked

Yep, I'd be on Birmingham most probably, with QPR making a run for it. Not too sure about Adelaide though...

Galekvic there from the start of the season, Valkanis and Costanzo back and fit, Ogeneovski added and LMAO replacing Alagich.
Cristiano has the best pedigree of any striker in the A-League, if Ago can spend more than one week fit I think that is excellent money for Adelaide.

your first bet is where it will fall down my friend, unless wenger goes on a spending spree no matter how many points u get at the start, ur squad will slow and repeat exactly the same ending u ahd this year if your competing on 3 fronts.
o and i would go for united, phoenix and birmingham (mcfadden is staying there isnt he?)
