I'd probably have walcott starting on the right at the moment

No question that giroud gives us more up front, very harsh on him to not have started either of the last two games

Almost feels like walcott's getting the starts up front to sign that new contract. He gives us so much more on the wing though, and he seems to get more goals cutting in and making striker type runs anyway.

Good to see Ox play well yesterday, he hadn't had a good game for a while. Wilshere was immense too, very physical, great for our midfield in the absence of Diaby.

I think arshavin should be our go-to bench option, he can create assists or score out of nothing, exactly the impact required and very effective against tiring defensive legs.

I'd like to see Cazorla out left with Rosicky in the hole in one of our upcoming games, be interesting to see how that'd go.

Although it is rather hilarious we're only 2 points off the top 4 despite our form, and 5 points off 3rd (which should be our realistic aim now). WBA, Spurs and Everton don't have the quality and depth to stick it out. Should be us and Chelsea for 3rd/4th

Based on what exactly? History? Cause it sure isn't the current season or form...

What an incredible game this morning. I was fair screaming and swearing when Newcastle made it 3-3. Our defence is hopeless. They just let the opposition run at them without putting any pressure on. Thought Wilshere had a good game and Theo HAS to be signed up. I would have loved for Giroud to get his hatrick with that last minute shot that hit the crossbar. Still, can't complain with 7-3 but still a lot of work to be done.

7 goals is high excitement for sure

Walcott great cross for goal#5, he'll definitely resign.

Gibbs set 1 up but let 2 in

Poldolski had a good game, Giroud is high class, an excellent signing.

Southampton next, must win game becasue if this guide is correct it's Man City - Chelsea (A) - WHU next up.

slightly amused to see Gareth Bale cop a suspension for 5x YC

3 (?) of which are for diving.

If Wenger is not confident he can get Walcott then sign Turan now.

That was fudgeing amazing. Was in the bay next to the Newcastle fans and the back and forth for the first 75 mins was amazing. Should have been 10-11 really, two great chances botched by Theo and the Giroud shot hitting the post. Great attacking performance.

Wiltshire and Arteta were immense, Santi came into the game in the 2nd half. SAgna bit shaky for periods, especially when Obertan was running at him at the start of the 2nd.

Awesome atmosphere, heard mixed things about the Emirates but was immense towards the end tonight. Will certainly be trying for tickets to Liverpool when they go on sale on Monday.

Sky Sources: Demba Ba's representatives do not expect him to join Chelsea after unproductive meeting & will now begin talks with other clubs

Well I must say, I believe my little bit undercover work pretending in disguise to be a Chelsea representative went well.

Ahahahaha. We really should be looking to sign him up.

So, now that we have November out of the way our League run in to the new year goes something like this:

Swansea (H)

WBA (H)

Reading (A)

Wigan (A)

West Ham (H)

Newcastle (H)

Southampton (A)

Every single one of those matches is winnable.

wanted 18 points from these 21

3 dropped against swansea, westham postponed, southampton to play, on track but need to win to complete a decent patch of form

would also make it 5 league wins on the trot, come on lads, focus, get it done

giroud down the middle with theo on the right please arsene

Well that was shark. I was happy to take the point at the end. Can't believe how bad Sagna was. It was like watching Eboue in that game where he came on as a sub and was then taken off. Our defence again looked like school kids. Just no organisation. The worse part was that we weren't winning any of the 50/50 challenges. No creativity up front. The only players to possibly come out with any credit were Szczesny and Arteta. If we believe that we deserve a place in the top four, then we should be winning these games easily.

I'm not looking forward to our next game against Citeh.

As poor a performance as I've seen in recent times from Arsenal. Sagna stood out as particularly bad.

very unlike sagna yesterday.

That aside, the defence wasn't much of an issue for me, we were just toothless in attack. Can't see why Giroud isn't getting starts.

Why no rosicky bought on arsene? Thought he could've made a difference.

Not convinced with Cazorla's form, hasn't come on after the first few games for me. Still like to see him tried wide left with rosicky central

Is wilshere becoming one of the most physical players going around? We need that bite in midfield with diaby perma crocked

Djourou to Hannover on loan for the rest of the season and David Villa rumours increasing. We seem to have a lot of dead wood on loan at the moment. Wish we could just get rid of them. Djourou, Chamakh, Denilson, Bendtner.

Not sure if I'm a fan of those. The white kit is ok.......except it looks like Spurs :( I don't like the bar across the front of the home shirt. There are quite a few adidas versions floating around. Just google image "Arsenal Adidas" and you'll see. Will be interested to see if these are genuine as whoever has done them seems to have used clues from the current shirts like the blue collar on the home shirt and the third kit looks very similar to our current away shirt. I'm a big fan of adidas kits though so will be interested to see what we end up. I'd like us to go back to just pure red and white..........and bring back the red socks!!!!!

MySkyed the game. Disappointed to not get the results, but that man Michu is in red hot form.

Gibbs goal was fantastic, replica of Podolski's ball, both assisted chips from Giroud, training ground move?

Replay at the Emirates should see us through, Rambo was woeful, and the BFG was too easily schooled for Michu's goal for my liking.

wasn't Ramsey's best game for sure

not sure why he plays wide left, I am thinking we have better options there

Gibbs did have a good game going forward.

replay is better than a loss but still not much cop.

Villa rumours still ongoing.

I am excited yet disappointed at the thought of Villa. Not a great injury track record, he's 31, surely there are better ways to spend 15M plus.

I did. But Szy says that match was the turning point. So I am confident that he's right.
In all seriousness, it's a great chance to get revenge for that loss. Just so long as we don't start Ramsey out wide, and Rosicky & the Ox come off the bench to infuse attacking options if necessary.

we schooled them, couldnt put it together in the final third, michu is a very good finisher

sort out our final ball/finishing and we'll smash them, their defence aint much chop
