Yea ive always been a big fan and id hate to see him go.. esp to city. But he does go that just extents our shopping list to:
Starting DM
Starting Striker
Starting WB
2 x Cb covers

Now thats Arsene hasn't brought in that many players since the panic signings of arteta, that korean guy and the other plodders. I hope hes not planning to use the same transfer tactic....

On another note, who else do we see departing?
Santi
Bendtner
Jenkinson perhaps

Bendtner definitely.

Vermaelen probably.

Podolski maybe.

Santi going nowhere for sure - didn't he sign a new deal?

Same with Jenkinson, signed a big contract last season I think. He'll stay, especially with Sagna probably going.

Santi made noises about leaving without a trophy. Hopefully the FA Cup final will solve that problem.

I don't think we'll need two CB's, with Miquel coming back I think he's got all we need as a 4th choice CB. Ideally someone to compete with Kos/Per for a starting place. If we did get another CB I'd want a Kurt Zuma type youngster that's being hailed as a future star to push Miquel.

Do you think Miquel is up to it though? I don't think he got much game time at Leicester.

should get Miquel and Coq back and playing

game time for Gnarby and Zealem too

if we throw enormous sums of cash go Pogba I reckon.

Pogba would be amazing, isn't he more box to box than deep lying? Regardless I'd love it.

Pogba is a beast. Tore up the U-20's and has been going well for the Old Lady.

We have zero chance.

Just looking at the table we are 7 points off the top, so close yet so far. Hopefully next season we can really keep pushing for the title, lets put WBA away on Monday then relax against Norwich

1. Injuries to key personal Theo, Wilshere, Rambo, Ozil.....

2. Bottling it in the big games

3. Decent back to Giroud

4. Only gaining 1 point from 2 games against Man u

Thoughts on Sanogo.....i'm no where near convinced he can/will get good to be honest. a season out of load might do him good but i can't see clubs lining up to take him

arrrrrh Seems like everyone wants Remy now

If we buy another striker it would be perfect to have Sanogo as third choice and give him League Cup starts.

Not sure why there is a big love in for remy. He hasnt been flash overall this season and i dont think hes worth the $14mil price tag I saw. And isnt he a bit old now for wenger?

But what makes me doutbt the move is that draxler is meant to be coming in isnt he?

As for sanogo hes going to develop more on loan than playing cup fixtures.

It's not just cup fixtures, it's working with Arsene, a specialist in striker development.

If he can take Theo from a sprinter to a winger with a very calm Henryesque side foot finish in front of goal I'm content he can do something with Sanogo. I'd agree he should not get loaned. Although Joel Campbell coming back may push him out...or Campbell might find himself playing wide.

Apparently Levezzi want's out of PSG, I'd take him as a good wide man option.

I feel wenger hasnt developed a young gun striker since henry or maybe RVP, though RVP was very 'old'(in wengers youth policy) by the time it started paying off and he was any good.

Theo and Henry allways had the x factor thou.....really hope he can do something with Sanago. Will be interesting if Campbell does make it, wouldnt be suprised if he gets loaned to a epl club

LAvezzi- yes please, his wages would be a bit insane thou?

Ox, gibbs and jack out for wba match.

And on transfers; apparently fabregas has been given the go ahead to talk to other clubs. Sign him back in a heart beat.

See I want Cesc back, but you've then got a very inflated midfield squad...who would you drop? Or perhaps you just carry an over-inflated squad and don't offer Arteta/Flamini new contracts. Because although singing him would be amazing, we'd still need to sign a defensive mid.

I'm happy with Theo as he is. 15 goals a season as winger who's job is to get behind defences and either cut back (which he does well) or cooly finish (which he's getting better at). Yes he sucks at the old arial cross, but that's not our style with the loan man Giroud in the box. Unless you're Ozil and you set him up for the thumper he did on the weekend.

I'd take cesc in a heartbeat and worry about the squad later. He's just that good. Probably make him captain too.

need to keep Flamini. Should get Coq back and team him up with Flam for a heap of the preseason.

Coquellin learning from Flamini is a dream. Imagine Cesc, Ozil and Pogba playing behind Giroud, Cazorla, and Walcott. Om. Nom. Nom.

There's your title credentials.

Yep would love Cesc back too, just can't see either him or Pogba (who seems to be name dropped) coming to us.

Cesc will go to the team who is the highest bidder if Barcelona allow him to leave, and that certainly won't be us as half the world would be after him.

Same goes for Pogba, but dear I say more clubs over Europe wanting him and his transfer fee would be higher than Cesc's because of it.

United will be the highest bidder for Fabregas, but I cannot see him going there

I imagine given the way Barcelona keep taking players off us it's about time we claim some back. Cesc has been very vocal about not joining United and how much he still loves Arsenal and Wenger. He's a passionate kid.

Great we write up on Arseblog about the frustrations of matches being moved for the sake of TV schedules, sounds like some fans getting really dicked around recently which isn't cool at all:

Can i get a show of hands for how many people would genuinely make a 4am kickoff at the BB for the FA cup final? Thinking i might be able to twist the bosses arm on this.

It's reported that we have a watertight buy-back clause for a fixed price, believed to be 29mil euros, it was worked into his contract when we sold him. Also states that if someone makes a bid, we have to be contacted and offered use of the contract clause before they can sell him to whomever bid.
So he can only go to the highest bidder if we allow it. Should barca let him go, the ball is completely in our court.

Interesting if that is the fee, wonder how far we would go if he were to be on the market...

Hey Ubergunner, myself and a mate of mine would 100% come along. Be cool if a good sized bunch could make it, if the bosses say yes! :)

I think it's safe to say that with 2 games left Chelsea won't loose both of them.

Mix the squad up & rest key players so we're fresh & pumped for the final.

Or use both of these matches to practice situations.

I get a little weak-kneed thinking about fabregas coming back. If he really is being allowed to leave please make this happen arsene. That boy will lead us to titles, I just know it.
