^ interesting info that
Must read more into the german league
I read that every club is already well within FFP regulations because it's a pre-requisite to break even just to be in the bundesliga - is that true?

Ramsay first goal scorer is my bet, looking forward to seeing Podolski start with Ozil next to him. I can see a few nervous moments in the first half with the players feeling the pressure.
Watching at the Celtic Club over here with a few other Gooners, will be disappointed to not hear She Wore a Yellow Ribbon belted out a few times.
The German club model I am a huge fan of with terraces (standing room), reasonable ticket prices and the fans having a proper say.

So what's everyone's plans in the lead up tomorrow? For me probably do some usual Saturday errands, then watch my own team in the afternoon (can't play as I'm the keeper and broke a finger in last week's game). Then guess I'll probably try and get a few hours sleep before heading out about 3 for the BB. If kickoff was a couple of hours earlier there would be no point going to bed but for a 4am kickoff on no sleep I'd be a wreck.

As above - paulm and I will be having roast pig. Mainly cos Sp*ds can't have it. Then I'll put my 2yr old to bed in her Arsenal pj's, take a sleeping pill and try to sleep.
Anyone else seen them pics of the Arsenal double decker already painted up with 'FA Cup Winners 2014' daubed across the back? FFS why did they do that? Can't any possible painting be done on the frickin' Sunday!?!?
Anyways, Happy World Whisky Day to you all. Let's see what I've got in the top cupboard here...
Slainte mhaith!!
How old is Leggy? Is he 12 or 72?
I got given a sega sponsor yellow away kit from my uncle in the 90's after he came back from some travel. I didn't start watching football religiously until I became obsessed with PES on xbox in 2005, the year after I finished high school. The 05/06 season is the first season I remember actually caring about.
Tomorrow is the first day in a while I can actually relax, sleep in, go to the vege market.. Hang around and read everything the internet has to tell me about Arsenal, catch a train in to town for a byo dinner with some mates, go for a beer at the pub, go to my mates place in thorndon and hang around there until it is time.
So will see you guys around 3.30am!
Same. Defibrilators will need to be on standy at the BB!
Usually watch games at home alone so this will be a different experience, but feel like I should do something special for this. Lately started to feel like maybe I didn't appreciate previous trophies as much as I could have as I started supporting Arsenal in 1997 and then we won things straight away. So I may have got into the mindset that it's something that just happens every other year. Now that it's been almost a decade without winning anything I fully appreciate that this chance may not come again in my lifetime so want to make it a really memorable occasion.
I started supporting Arsenal while watching the 78 cup final. Wasn't a great start and after that went through the early 80's where we won nothing until 1987 so I'm used to this trophy drought :(
I'm planning on being at the BB at 3-30am traffic allowing from Seatoun. I think there's quite a bit of build up on ESPN so hopefully Uber has the TV already on when we get there.
'78 was first Arsenal game a got to watch live
and we signed the goalscorer!
We signed Brian Talbot, not Rodger Osbourne. Talbot went on to win the FA Cup two seasons in a row with different clubs.
I'll be doing my usual Saturday household chores in Palmy North. The car already has a full tank for the trip down. Cruising down about 6pm and staying with friends in Seatoun. Will try and get some sleep or I'll be a wreck for the drive home on Sunday morning. See you all at the BB around 3-30am. I'll have Ramsey 16 on the current seasons shirt.
Just warming up with some Time Team and a cup o' tea. Phwoar, he's gone manic!!
I'm actually staying away from footy news today. Concentrate on finish building me pizza oven. That's what the wife is goading me to do anyways.

I have actually been on the domestication buzz too, keep me going. Still so long away. I have decided I am wearing the blue away 04/05 kit. See you guys there! I'm the bald headed guy with the beard.
I have the blue away 04/05 kit with Gooner 4 Life on the back :)
Played footy today, Naked and Famous gig tonight with the mrs, grab a couple of hours sleep, then watch the most important game of the season. So bloody nervous. >10 hours to go lads. Fire. The. F*ck. Up.
If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid
