Not sure this is a good move, unless on a pay-to-play basis, as Fortune has been in and out of the treatment room far too often in the last few years.
Started in the win against Arsenal but hobbled off before halftime and then i cant remember hearing about him since.
Maybe good for a season or two but surely there is better options for Keane and Ipswich
Hopefully Tommy Smith gets a few first team games, Played lunchtime footy with him back in Intermediate

The 22-year-old winger, who joined the Reds as a 16-year-old, has signed a four-year deal with the Tractor Boys, ending a United career in which he made three first-team appearances.
I think that is a good move for both parties
Shrewsbury and Ipswich traded blows in a top-class Carling Cup tie of six high-quality goals before the Championship side won 4-2 on penalties.
Connor Wickham, only 16, scored with a crisp 18-yard right-foot drive for Ipswich after 11 minutes and then produced a dazzling display for the rest of the game.
Shrewsbury equalised with Jake Robinson's 12-yard snapshot before Dave Hibbert hit a stunning dipping 35-yard volley past Shane Supple.
Ipswich pulled level with an Alan Quinn 20-yard free kick after 32 minutes and then Ipswich went ahead again with more intricate footwork from Wickham who found the corner of the net with a left foot 12-yard shot.
Fifteen minutes from normal time, Shane Cansdell-Sherriff sent a left-foot volley on the turn in off the far post.
Substitute Omer Riza had a good chance to wrap up the tie in extra time for Shrewsbury but fired wide with only Supple to beat.
Supple saved Robinson's first penalty and Ipswich scored all four before Graham Coughlan fired the ball over the top to give Ipswich victory.
Ipswich Town's debt passes 35 million under Marcus Evans's ownership
Ipswich Town made a loss of 10.3 million in the 12 months to June this year, bringing their total debt to more than 35 million as the effects of Marcus Evans's ownership of the club were realised.
The figures were disclosed on Monday night in an information sheet provided to shareholders in the plc, which owns 12.5 per cent of Ipswich, ahead of the annual meeting on Nov 24.
The 6 million rise in Ipswich's debt was little surprise in light of the transformation in the club's finances since the takeover by Evans, a hotel entrepreneur worth in excess of 200 million, in December 2007.
The appointment of Roy Keane as manager is alone costing 3 million over two seasons, despite Ipswich winning just one of their first 15 league games this term.
Player and coaching staff costs have risen from 8.3 million to 11.8 million under Evans's ownership, while turnover has fallen from 15.8 million to 14.7 million.
Adding to the grim set of financial results was the failure to secure a loan move for Hull midfielder George Boateng.

ROY KEANE has only been in the job for just under eight months, and yet already he is amongst the top dozen longest serving managers in the Championship!
Roy Keane, yesterday(thats enough blockhead, sorry readers)
That remarkable statistic confirms just how fickle football chairmen can be, the importance of immediate success, and the precarious nature of being a modern-day football manager.
Keane was appointed as the new Ipswich Town boss on April 23, and since that date no fewer than 12 clubs have parted company with their manager, some of them more than once!
The Irishman is now up to No. 12 in the list of Championship managers, in terms of their longevity.
While Town owner and chairman, Marcus Evans, has been prepared to back his manager despite such a dismal start to the season - Town were in the relegation zone for nearly four months until last weekend's 3-1 home win over Blackpool - the powerhouses in the board rooms elsewhere have not been so patient, or loyal.
The same goes for the fans as well. There have been no calls for Keane's head, from Town's support base, in contrast to other fans up and down the country, who have not been slow to turn against their managers.
Hopefully, the loyalty shown in Keane is now beginning to bear fruit, not least because he has always had a two-year plan to secure promotion back to the Premier League.
Town are unbeaten in 10 games, and will be hoping to stretch that to 11 at Sc**thorpe United tomorrow.
Cardiff City boss Dave Jones is the Championship's longest serving manager. As of today, he has been at the helm for four years and 207 days, since his appointment in May, 2005.
Bristol City's Gary Johnson is second in the charts - he arrived at Ashton Gate in September, 2005.
Ex-Ipswich boss Jim Magilton became the latest manager to lose his job on Wednesday evening, following his departure from QPR.
Yesterday, former Portsmouth manager Paul Hart was appointed as Magilton's successor, with ex-Colchester United assistant manager Mick Harford returning to Loftus Road as his assistant.

Ipswich season ticket more expensive than United
By Kieran Daley
A survey of all 92 English professional clubs has found Championship side Ipswich's most expensive season ticket was more than the equivalent at Newcastle or Manchester United.
At 1001, Ipswich's season ticket, entitling the owner to a seat in section D of the Cobbold Stand at Portman Road, is the fourth-most expensive in the country, with Newcastle, at 975, and Manchester United, at 931, coming in fifth and sixth respectively.
Arsenal offer the most expensive season ticket in the country at 1825 according to the survey, which was conducted by FourFourTwo magazine, with the most expensive single ticket for a match at the Emirates Stadium costing 94.
After Arsenal, Tottenham's top-price season ticket costs 1695, and Chelsea's costs 1210. Rounding out the top 10, Fulham charge 899, West Ham charge 850, Liverpool charge 785 and Queen's Park Rangers lead the line for sides outside the top flight, asking their supporters to shell out 699 for a season pass.
Of Premier League clubs, Wigan offers the cheapest top-price season ticket the best seat in the house costing just 295, which is less than half as much as the equivalent at Bristol City with only Accrington, Bradford, Hereford, Crewe and Port Vale coming out cheaper out of any teams in the entire Football League.
Wigan officials attribute their comparitively cheap tickets to a range of factors, including the proximity of other teams in the north-west and the fact Wigan is predominantly a rugby league town.

Ooooo. Could be a touchy post on the Ipswich thread.
Up the Clarets!
Future Phoenix (or Wharfies) player then.
Striker signs three-and-a-half year contract at Turf Moor
Burnley have confirmed the signing of highly-rated striker Charlie Austin from Swindon Town for an undisclosed fee.
Skysports.comrevealed earlier on Friday that the Clarets were set to win the race for Austin, who had attracted interest from several clubs.
Fellow Championship side Ipswich Town had also agreed a fee with Swindon, while Blackpool and Southampton had shown an interest in Austin.
However, it is new Burnley boss Eddie Howe who has won the battle for the 21-year-old, who scored 37 goals in 65 appearances for Swindon.
Austin will have to wait to make his Clarets debut, though, as he is ineligible for Saturday's FA Cup fourth round tie against Burton after playing for Swindon earlier in the competition.
Bump yet again
