May be a chance for some of the youngsters to stake a claim. I like the look of Carroll.
Haway The Lads!!!
3-0!! That's a good showing for th Toon.
By the match report it looked like Carroll was pretty handy and maybe Ameobi can develop a bit in the lower league.
Looks like duffer has gone..The squad is getting very very thin
Need a new center back, left midfielder and striker who can knock in 20+ goals for the season
if those signings happen and a manager is appointed soon, NUFC will challenge for promotion
Cmon another 3points this thursday!!!
Its a disgrace what he has done
Watched the first two games online but not sure if there's one for tomorrow around yet.
I will be so disappointed if Steven Taylor ends up leaving...Hes the only player with a bit of passion for the football club. Id love to see him captain
Interesting to see, that we are lined to Sol Campbell. Personally, i think he would be a bloody good signing for the championship.
Also speculation around that NUFC are trying to resign lovenkrands
1-0
Ameobi again
Hopefully another 3points. Palace could be quite tough but they haven't beaten NUFC at home since 1984. They include Darren Ambrose - Former NUFC player.

If we're not careful Cashley will raise his asking price!
But what a start to the season - and done without most of the big names and bigger paypackets.
The British media is saying that by tomorrow, we should know if Ashley has managed to sell the club. I doubt it though.
Junior, you will be happy, both Tottenham and Newcastle on fire and the Nix playing good football.

Cardiff will be tricky especially as it is away from home. Interesting to see the official statement put out on nufc.co.uk regarding the sale of the club.

Major injury crisis already for leciester. Guterriez, carroll, xisco and ameobi all look like they are out of the match. That only leaves us with one striker - young Nile Ranger.
Not good.Maybe the Toon management will be on the bench like the Nix.
Any idea how serious the injuries are?

Fu*k Hughton is only confident in bringing in one or two players...One being Lovenkrands. Lovenkrands would be a good signing but the squad is weak. Lost ten players and only gained one player I suppose we can gain loan signings until November so thats one postive.Hughton is confident that no more players will be leaving though..
