I am surprised that Cristiano Ronaldo was not higher. Only premier league player to win world player of the year, and equaled most goals scored in a 38 game season, highest scoring ratio in a season at 0.91 goals/game. Won just about everything as an individual and as a team.

Henry should of won that and you know it.

Three for me, and two for them.

2nd twice isnt bad (though same as Beckham). Behind Ronaldinho and Zidane.

Henry didn't win many international individual awards at all it seems.

Should have.

....and you could be right.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

This is tough. Without trying to cast doubt on the merits of anyone on the list I can't help but feel there are some names missing.

How about John Barnes?
Or for me someone like Matt Le Tissier should definitely be there. He was truly gifted and scored some simply outstanding goals. Proof needed? He was the 6th player to reach 100 EPL goals and the 1st midfielder to achieve the feat.

John Barnes' best days were prior to the EPL forming.

It is a pretty tough ask. The more you think about it, the more names pop up. Shearer, Bergkamp, Cantona, Henry, Ronaldo were probably the first names I thought of.

Tony Adams. deserves it for the Highbury goal in '98 alone

never quite sure why Michael Essien don't get more fanfare either. He is one of the best players for sure.
