top of the table deciders?

Big games this weekend at the top of the table, Liverpool v Manchester and Arsenal v Chelsea. The mancs are in goal scoring form, but against L'pool are they assured the same? L'pool also coming off the back of a shock loss to Reading. A very un-healthy looking Arsenal squad host chelsea (also missing drogba and essien). Arsenal need to lift their game coming of two away games and one pont to hold position in a weekend that could see some changes in the pecking order.

My predictions/ dreams:
L'pool 2 - 1 Mancs
Arsenal 1 - 0 Chelsea    (or even a draw) (please)

I can't see Liverpool beating Man U. A draw at best for them I reckon.

If we come out of the weekend still on top I'll be a happy gooner.

to be honest, neither. but im hoping and praying they do. because, while im being honest im going out on a limb and saying im not that confident on a win vs the russians. not saying we will lose just think a draw is more likely.

lol Man U should at least draw, and i'm picking Chelsea to win, even without didiot, cause Averam is suprisingly good, and without RVP, Cesc, Hleb, u guys look lost

Arsene on Chelsea, talking postmatch this morning: "He [Van Persie] is ready physically, yes. We have some other players who are injured, like Fabregas, like Hleb, Flamini, and we'll have to assess the situation of these players in the next few days, though I will certainly have to take a gamble on one or two. Can I take a gamble on three or four? That would be a very risky so I'll have to assess the situation in the next three or four days." NZgooner2007-12-13 14:14:09

Gonna be a long night on the couch.
For those that can last the distance,The World Club Campionship Final provides a good curtain raiser to the lineup as well.

Massive weekend.

new on arsenal.com it says that the 'signs are good' for fabregas, flamini and hleb. All three are back in training and could just be fit in time.

Don't care who won but just glad the RedSh1te and Chelski both lost.

Its no longer a problem.

Arsenal and ManU are top because they have several players who can score goals when needed. Chelski rely to much on just Drogba; Liverpool have not yet got a regular guaranteed scorer (sometimes Torres looks good, other times not).

I predict Arsenal to take title by one point or goal difference from ManU with Chelski several points behind then a significant gap back to Liverpool, ManCity and Everton. Portsmouth to finish seventh just ahead of Villa.

so your prediction of end of season in point diff the edzact same as now lol?

i think it will be tight the whole way through. so maybe 1pt diff is too far off the mark

african cup of nations has me worried. i think toure will be a huge loss to the squad and either Senderos or Djourou are to prone to sloppy errors and giving away penalties. Im hoping we get Gilberto to play in CD while he is away, other wise we will be losing points in jan/feb.

I think Wenger will bring in a new CB to cover Toure, given what he's hinted at in the past.

Neither Djourou nor Senderos are up to the task imo.

Who would he buy? We know he doesn't like to spend too much so i'm not too sure at who he could buy.

Three for me, and two for them.

haha thankfully i scolled down then because i was rather confused. yeah you can never really tell what he will do. but we cannot rely on song/senderos/dj so would prefer gilberto for some stability.
