Agree, but you could say that for about five teams. Makes for a good tight race! (For the topfour at least).

This is our month of hell, if we can get 3 more points I may entertain top 4 possibility...and wins over Florentina would be nice on the side

Having heard the sounds of the 90s at the San Fran last night,my prediction fo this season is also a hark back to those times: 10th.

Oh behalf of LFC Wellington...

Spurs v LFC & charity fundraiser Sunday 12:45am 18th October

Come and join us at Four Kings.

There’s only 1 point separating these 2 sides in the league at present, a win could potentially mean a spot in the top 4 for either team.

This will likely be the best kick off time we will get all season, 12:45 on a Saturday night / Sunday morning and we’re expecting a big croud. Make sure you get down early.

Win a signed LFC shirt or an unsigned Spurs shirt!

We are also running a raffle as a fundraiser for Heart Kids. Last November we held a similar fundraiser and raised over $400 for Heart Kids by sponsoring Chris Little as he rode around Taupo 4 times.

This year we have 2 awesome prizes available.

A Liverpool 15/16 home shirt that has been signed by 19 members of the touring squad that went to Australia. Signatures include Jordan Henderson, James Milner, Kolo Toure, Nathaniel Clyne, Simon Mignolet, Lucas Leiva, Joe Gomez, Joe Allen, Divock Origi, Adam Bogdan, and Jordan Rossiter...or a shirt with a seatbelt included (Spurs naturally).

This raffle is open to all fans throughout NZ. There are 2 ways you can get into the draw to win one of the fantastic prizes and give a little to Heart Kids NZ.

Visit our Heart Kids NZ givealittle page https://givealittle.co.nz/fundraiser/lfcwellingtonheartkids/ and make a donation by 9pm Saturday 17th October. Every $10 will give you a ticket in the draw. Please ensure your name is included (so we know who to contact) and that you write in the comments section ‘LFC’ or ‘Spurs’ so we know which shirt you would like to win.

In person at the Four Kings with cash on Saturday 17th October. Every $10 you give will give you a ticket in the draw There’s no limit to the number of tickets you can get and the winners will be drawn at half time (but you don’t have to be there to collect your prize.)

"...sure beats doin' stuff."

Shark! We drew Barcelona in the Champions League. Who did you guys get?
02 May 21:33

Holy crap, I have to go back to last June to see a Spurs fan actually posting. Come on you guys, you have had a better season than most for a long long time and you cant stand up to be counted? I wish we finished in 2nd place. We did once, 1975/76 but you should all be celebrating European Cup automatic qualification.

Showed themselves up to be the thugs that they are in that game too. Should be a few bans handed out, and someone shoved Hiddink to the floor into the advertising boards at the end too.

02 May 23:12

9 yellows, lots of petulant crap, horrible video of hiddink getting pushed over floating around.

Points deduction?

;)

02 May 23:39

It's ok Spurs fans...as a long suffering LFC fan, you can borrow my "Next year is our year" T-shirt.

Here's the video of a Spurs player, possibly Danny Rose, shoving Hiddink over after the game. Link

ALso what was Pochettino doing? Can't remember ever seeing a manager run on the pitch to get involved in some pushing and shoving with the players.

just some eye gouging on costa . probably egged him on lol.

Tottenham's first pre-season match ends in a 2–1 defeat against Juventus. Some promising youngsters although Lamela was the one that most shined.

Goals:

Juventus vs Tottenham
Dybala 6' 1–0
Benatia 14' 2–0
2–1 Lamela 67'

Lamela's goal:

Next pre-season matches:

  • 29 July vs Atletico Madrid (Melbourne)
  • 5 August vs Inter Milan (Oslo)

God that 3rd kit is terrible, the Mirror (here) ranked the Home kits 1-20 and they ranked our one first. Personally I think it's just ok, however i really like the away kit...

Poch gone before Emery, what a world

19 Nov 22:39

Damn, wasn't expecting that today.

Mourinho bookies favourite as well!

What a world.

20 Nov 02:46

Sounds like Mourinho is in. Crikey. They moved quickly.

20 Nov 03:12

I mean, if Mourinho turns up I fully expect Tottenham to be in United's current situation within the next 6 years.

It also wouldn't surprise me if they won the league in 2 years...

20 Nov 03:55

Mourinho spotted looking at Buses for sale in North London near Sharke Hart Lane.

20 Nov 05:22

Yea it will go one of two ways. A disaster, or a title win. Either way mourinho will be gone in his standard 3 years. Whats most interesting is how mourinho will handle the most limited budget in his career since Porto.

You've got to hand it Jose's comedy chops, mentioning the academy in his introductory spiel is hilarious.

He is a winner.

If you are old and wise you were probably young and stupid

Will be interesting to see how he goes against Pep and Klopp

So Mourinho was pretty unhappy at United with the lack of backing from the board, so he's gone to Tottenham. I can see him getting rather frustrated rather quickly.

Should be a fun watch though.
